Shout out to Chakan. A very good selection.

Don’t think I’ve seen all of Samie’s to judge fairly. Obviously Raiders is a classic, as is Rain Man. Cocoon and Blood Sport a nice 80s mix…just not enough overall.

Max has some stellar picks too with ET, Planes, Trains and the Shining (what a mash up that would be), but again overall went for the crowd pleasers.

Had to go for Max in the end. Seen all of the films in his stable, with the sole exception of Police Man, and rate them all really highly, with Brazil being one of my three favourite films from the decade altogether. Tubby ran him very close, but my knowledge of his films is a little more spotty compared to Max. Samie and Chakan also had excellent lists. Chaks especially had one of the more 80s lists of the entire draft.
