So now Ruse, Husky bites,  LFC London have confirmed the Roxy has closed, and even Temple Walkabout which was occasionally good for a big match have all closed down.

Trying to find a new pub- A 'liverpool' pub, full of reds, always shows our matches over any others and ideally 3pms

Not a fan of the F3K it's miles away and full of whoppers (mostly other supporters but some reds sadly too "easy easy" chants etc)

A mate has recommended the Spread Eagle which I'm thinking of giving a go.

Any other recommendations?

Not sure where to place this, but is xxxxxxxxx Inn still the 'Liverpool' pub in Leeds? When I was living there it was there and the Packhorse by the Uni, hope it's still the same.

Where are you based

Clapham, but prepared to travel (within reason) for a good pub like Ruse was.

I think one of the reasons there's not one big supporters pub is not enough people are prepared to jump on the tube! IMO It's far better to travel for a good atmosphere in a busy bar than go to your local pub full of Chelsea rent boy fans!

So still nowhere like ruse then?

Got a mate over tomorrow and want to watch the match. Any recommendations for pubs showing the 3pm games in soho way or east? Anywhere other than west really.

Cheers

A bit more east but Auld Shillelagh in Stoke Newington is quite decent. Not huge but can have some good support when LFC plays.

It's the best but it's a secret. More Scousers in there than on the Kop on a match day :)

Try a pub called the Yuchtan in Dalston, they showed every game a couple of years ago when I was last there. Maybe ring them.

So looks like I'm going to be stuck around the Liverpool Street area on the day of the Man Utd game. Any recommendations for a place that is likely to show a 12.30pm kick off?

Bar Kick in Shoreditch is about a 10 minute walk from LS station, that will be open and have it on.

The Waterpoet (5 mins from Lpool Street)
The Cornershop (Shoreditch High Street)
King Stores (2 mns from Lpool Street)
There's also an alehouse called the Red Lion out the back of Liverpool Street which is quieter.

Bar Kick is alright but it's full of divvies and doesn't do pints.

All easily found on google maps/Citymapper, you won't struggle.

The King's Arms on Wormwood St, just around the side of Liverpool St is great for football. I haven't ever watched LFC in there, so unsure of what the atmosphere would be like or if LFC fans frequent it, but good screens, good seats and they do have a decent selection of drinks. Never had food there but Assenheims is just next door. *dribble*

Anyone know somewhere in London that shows the 3pm kick offs?

They seem to have clamped down on them this season.

If I'm not mistaken, The Rusty Bike in Mile End shows them. Could give them a call to confirm.

Extra Time next to Barbican Station used to be a good one...pure reds fans.   Not sure now as i haven't been in awhile.  3 Kings next to West Kensington station is brilliant for football.  Have loads of screens and and show most 3pm games.  The owner is a Red so normally always shows us matches.

Tried it for a champions league game a couple of months back for the first time but it was dead. It's so small though that I imagine with a few good reds it would have a good atmosphere. I'll be in Bonds bar for this one over the road.

Maybe I'll come over there for the 2nd half and join the Mayfair Reds & Blues.

Love this review from Trip advisor

"The manager is the worst arrogant person ever. He started screaming at us just because one of my friend wanted to pay instead of me. He had such a bad attitudine and he refused to serve drinks to my friends. A nervous person like that should never do a job that need customers service. We used to go to this pub with all our team after work, but we will never go back."

Is this actually true? Moved down to Hackney in December and looking for somewhere decent to watch the derby. Anyone know anywhere else in the area? Work in Stratford so can be that area as well. Would love to find a pub with a few reds in that I can go to regularly. If theres a really decent one more central I don't mind travelling as well. Any recommendation will do!

Where in Hackney are you? The Adam n Eve in Homerton is my local, and there's usually a good atmosphere in there for matches. It's not so incredible that you should go out of your way, but if you're vaguely local it's decent enough.
