I got my ticket for the league cup final against Bolton from him. A lovely fella who said to me and my mate "don't fucking sell them lads". Still smile when I think of that meeting and the glint in his eye when he said it.

What a defender this man was ,hard as nails, took no prisoners,would run through a brick wall for LFC.
Funny enough met him in Brixham a few years ago and he told me he was doing a sportsmans dinner that night and offered me tickets for the night. I know he can be a bit tetchy but I found him to be nothing but great company,was Liverpool through and through and a man who would have died for the club. R.I.P the Anfield Iron.
