can not post the screen shot i was sent but saying final preparation our being done for a screened fan zone in champs de mars close to eiffel tower    not sure how true it is but got to believe paris was picked over bigger stadium like barca for a reason

Don't think you can draw any conclusions abuot possible screenings in  a fan zone by looking at the venue that was chosen. There could be a million reasons why they picked Paris. It's probably not really worth looking out for news at this point, because I remember in Madrid  there were abuot a million stories doing the rounds in the run up to the final from "public screening with free beer for everyone" to "everyone outside after kickoff will be shot" (of course I'm exaggerating, but whether there would be a fan zone was changing from day to day). We'll  know soon enough what will happen.

I don’t expect there to be any screening of the game in a fanzone.

Will there defo be a fanzone pre game though?

Jamie Webster has cancelled his show on the 28th and Boss night tweeted that link with the eyes emoji so yes, I imagine something is happening but not ready to be announced just yet

I’m sure most of us will go without tickets as per Madrid. But there are loads of nice little bars to settle in and watch the game. Despite their reputation the Parisian bar owners are welcoming as long as you dont act like a nobhead.

been messaging a few Paris bars and they're either first come first served which will mean no chance if we all go to a fanzone first, the others are already booked out. Tomorrow will be a scramble

There is about 8 of us heading over ticketless (most of us likely to remain ticketless). Have a friend living there, so accomodation is free at least (even if it will be a mighty squeeze in a 45 square metre flat).

Hoping there will be a Madrid-style fan park. I still think there will be even if its a last minute announcement. No chance of getting into the LFC bars I think.

This fella (owner of The Kop Bar) reckons he can fit 1,000 people outside in the avenue. Whether that means there will be a big screen or not I don´t know:

It was, but can probably never be replicated, Madrid was totally different, many of the cool cats avoided the main gatherings there.

There will be 50000+ Reds in Paris.  Real opportunity for Paris to put on a show for this.  Anyone into cycling will know Paris can absorb hundreds of thousands of visitors for the climax of The Tour de France and ensure that all are well catered for. Will be a big let down if they can’t get it right for the final.

See TAW have a "one night in Paris" flyer out for 27th. Ticket info coming out soon apparently.

All the badge kissing in the world don't make up for the fact that they are, frankly, not Liverpool Football Club. It's not their fault. Its just how it is.

I've booked to go Weds 25th to Tues 31st - in Bonty which is in the North East (on RER).

Complete novice at this so keeping an eye out for organised stuff such as the 'One Night in Paris'
