Dark souls must be amazing to get!  Not played any of the games other than the first 10 minutes of Bloodborne.

Same here last year. Think I got every trophy except for the smash all ravens one. Not sure there's a way to know which ones I missed, so am probably never gonna get that one haha

I got 97% of it done back in the ps3 days. Needed to finish one more cycle of the game so I could get back and buy one stupid spell. This was NG+++ I needed to complete and  I just couldn't get past Gwin despite hours and hours of trying.

Still something I want to go back to at some point

Yeah Wige.  On remastered for PS4, you only have to do 2.5 run throughs (NG++) to get Platinum.  Run 3 is purely just to collect the 3rd soul of SIF you need to craft a rare boss soul weapon.

It must have been different on the PS3 version as you should only have had to face Gwyn for the final time on NG+.   There is just 1 miracle and 1 weapon you can craft from Gwyn's souls.

I struggled with Gwyn myself even on NG+ until I realised you could catch him in a "Parry/riposte" cycle with enough time to chug an Estus flask between each attack.

Check out Wolfenstein:New Colossus.  0.92% rate. Ultra Rare.

You have to do a complete run through on the hardest difficulty.  No Saves and permadeath.  Die once and its game over.  Absolutely brutal but people have done it!!

I *think* it was the same on PS3 - but I only decided to go for it at the start of NG+. I don't remember exactly how I got in the situation I did, but I'd either duplicated something during NG & NG+ or bodged it at some point. I remember doing Gwin with the parry/riposte techniques up until the last NG version. As I recall at that point if I missed the parry he one-shotted me.

Hugely tempted by re-mastered, and not just to claim the platinum.

To be honest. None of the trophies are ridiculously hard to get.  Once you complete your first run through you can mop up trophies on NG+. You keep all your equipment and stats from previous game. On NG+ I was one shotting some of the earlier bosses with big pyromancies and powerful miracles.

And I think you underestimate the amount of Dark Souks players (past and present) out there. It’s been voted the best game of all time in certain polls.  It’s sold zillions of copies.

Yeah, i know nothing about it, said friend said its a bitch to do. I understand now that the player base has a huge impact on those percentages and looking at that one it must be some game.

Just got one for Spiderman Remastered. Really fun game, and the platinum was very doable without being a slog.

Looking forward to the DLC now, although not sure how long it is.

Enjoyed completing both of them, and think I'd enjoy a replay after a long break (and to sweep up last few trophies)

Death Stranding.  A rare one.

Wow, What a grind to get Platty in the end but it also introduced me to ALL areas of the map and made me appreciate just how beautiful a game this is.

This game isn't for everyone, I get that... but I loved it.

Thanks mate! I found it far too tempting to 'just do one more room'. Didn't imagine I'd end up wanting to go for a platinum, but once I'd got to the true ending I still wanted to keep playing which was a rarity. I feel like this and Hades really get me wanting to sit at the tv for hours, and do nothing else - like gaming when i was young
