You're totally right here Ron.
Rafa had his faults and stubborness was one of his biggest.
However he believed in our club, he had dignity and pride.
He fucking exposed Hicks and Gillette for what they are, total and utter fucking shitbags.
Other people at the club decided to follow the 'Pipers' because they had no balls to stand up to the 'mighty americans'.
The media, the fucking owners will never kill our spirit. We are Liverpool FC, down but not out.
Together, as one, we must carry this fight and not allow the bastards in charge to divide us.
At the moment I can't see a solution to the problem but the blind faith I had at half time in Instanbul still exists. Just remember to 'Keep the Faith'.
Indeed.
I also really liked Houllier, I think he had a heart for the club too, but towards the end of his leadership the football got so bad and negative that it felt like his time was up.
And although Benitez has also made mistakes, some small and some bigger, I never had the feeling we were gonna desert him.
He was a real unique character in the game, his charm in a way went further then just being a football coach.
He seemed to relate to the people of Liverpool in a way that's not often seen in football anymore.
He had something "Shankly" about him.
I can't believe he was put out with the trash.
We had a really bad season, but part of that was beyond anyone's control, we were plagued with injury.
But Benitez didn't deserve to be cast aside like this.
I think this nasty afair puts a bit of shame on Liverpool football club.
