best left back in the world bar none.
I would say Mendy when fit runs him close. When fit? He'll be on corner practice tomorrow morning!
Thank Fowler we're not getting Caulker
Mendy has had some shockers. He can't defend. The only two that come close is Marcelo and Alaba at Bayern.
also ot but any links for the cl draw? isnt it happening now? cant find a thread for it
He's a better overall player than Riise, but Riise scored goals.
A few (most?) of those while playing in midfield, right?
He is comfortably the best fullback in the world (Never mind left back)It genuinely isn't up for debate either. No other fullback in world football is putting out 9/10's minimum every single game. I think he's had one bad HALF in his Liverpool career so far.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.
Kind of ridiculous how good he isA triumph for scouting in the age of analytics (there was nothing in his numbers at Hull to suggest he could be this good)
would like him to get a game off here or there during the festive period - maybe Newcastle at home?
Genuinely can't think of a left back I'd rather have playing for Liverpool, surely swapping Kevin Stewart for this lad was the heist of the century?
I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.
@ Veinticinco de Mayo The way you talk to other users on this forum is something you should be ashamed of as someone who is suppose to be representing the site.
Letting his standards drop of late without doubt. There were 4 last night, 6 last week and 3 the week before at Bournemouth, were blades of grass were not covered. The kids needs to start upping his game. Its all a bit disappointing if am honest.
We know the club has access to cutting edge analytics (they have physics phds on the books doing the modelling) that simply isnt available to us, so its quite possible they picked up information that doesnt come through in the measurements popularized.
We've got scouts all over the world, probably had LFC Scouts in Scotland during his time up there that kept an eye on him, then scouts up in Hull that were saying similar things to the fellas up in Scotland.Etc...Apparently he was sensational up in Scotland before his move to Hull... I didn't really pay attention to his time at Hull so can't comment on that, but it was well known that he was a huge talent up in Scotland.
I use Ceefax for all my data and number crunching.I even bought a ski holiday on it.
