Could live in Barcelona at any time of his life

To not give the club another season, to not experience playing in the CL at Anfield for Liverpool for a season, despite the ban.....

Take your improved contract with you :wave

I hear there's a new plan from the club to introduce new players to the delights of the Scouse Bird ;D

We got his best years and he'll never feel what he did at LFC.  He'll be at PSG or in Russia by 2017.  We also made a bundle.

Thanks for the memories Luis!  He's the only player I saw score on my one trip to the Kop.  I'll never forget that.

I am absolutely convinced the deal is at least 6 months old.  I think he knew all last season he was leaving and he still gave 100% for LFC at all times and produced one the greatest seasons on top flight history.

I'd wish Luis and family thanks for the memories, and the best of luck, both with football at Barca, and with his therapy, it can be a long and sometimes difficult road to good mental health, but I think he can make it there.
He was the best player I've ever seen in a red shirt so he'll have no problems at all with the football side of things, and they are a fantastic club with great players so he'll fit right in, and might give them something their missing.

Now, lets press on with sorting the squad out for the next few years  :P

He has always wanted a move to Spain. Not only is it the big move for South Americans, it is also where is wifes family have lived for years, and the reason he came to Europe in the first place.

But ye, he clearly hates us.

This.  It was always inevitable that he would leave us.  The trick was getting it right.  In the end, he's left us for a respectable fee, to a club that is not a rival, and with what seems like a fair deal or warning beforehand giving us a chance to line up replacements.  Sad to see him go of course, but no animosity from me and wish him all the best.

Luis Suarez created amazing moments while he was here. I will miss him and his magic on the pitch. All the best to Suarez.

On the other hand, it will be less pressure on the club and less lawyer fees in the coming years as we won't be the ones defending him and his theatrics.

I'm gutted, I love him to bits.

I can draw 3 positives from this though....

1) He played some absolutely majestic stuff while with us and helped us qualify for the CL and almost a PL title.
2) He enabled us to receive a kings ransom of £75m which hopefully we will re-invest.
3) The club is in a more sound position in terms of squad & Financial compared to the sale of Torres.

Players move on but the club will always remain. Thank you for the great memories and the world class goals, also never giving up in a Liverpool shirt. YNWA

Fired us into the CL, got us a massive profit and left the league instead of going to a rival.

Exactly. Also....There are many players I've seen not giving their all for the club but I can't for my life remember one single game where Luis didn't give 100 %

We'll move on but I will definitely miss the partnership he had with Daniel Sturridge. Blew us all away.

Good luck, Luis.

You could argue that Barca fans don't even love Messi like we love Suarez. It's true, he's never going to be idolised like that again at a club level. I'm certainly not bitter, I'll always hope he does well and when Barca are playing, I'll have to switch on and watch just to see what he does next because Suarez is a player worth watching. Undoubtedly the most magical player I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing turn out for our club - never seen anyone with that combination of technique and an absolute savage desire to win before. Thanks for the memories Luis you mad bastard.

True..

Spannish fans are kinda weird, not humble at all like real fans of football are (Liverpool FC).

Liverpool FC for me is the only team to show the world about playing football with Heart and Soul, and not about showing off like other Big teams do.

I'm so happy about the way the team played last season and how Suarez was part of the beautiful football played.

But I'm more excited about how Brendan will do with his signings, its soo refreshing and more exciting, come to think of it, it takes off the pressure of having to keep big names all the time, and for that I think the club will become more balanced now and stable with signings and the general squad now that suarez has gone.
“I want to build a team that's invincible, so that they have to send a team from bloody Mars to beat us!” “For a player to be good enough to play for Liverpool, he must be prepared to run through a brick wall for me then come out fighting on the other side."

I have mixed emotions about this one. As a foreign Liverpool fan I never got to see him play ' live'  but he is one heck of a player. I do believe the club can do without some of his antics though. Don't get me wrong.. the last thing I want from a soccerteam is a choir boys mentality but this guy can hurt your club with fines and extremely long suspensions on a regular basis.

Now just to hope that the money gets spend wisely (We'll need more than Lambert or as per the rumours a 19 year old Ogiri) to replace a guy of Suarez's caliber but I have faith in Rodgers to do just that.

Hope I don't offend anyone with this post.

Nope, me too. Why would Barca selling Sanchez to Arsenal mean we would reduce their price for Luis?
