Inexcusable from Jamie but....

Isn't operating a phone whilst driving a criminal offence? Driving without undue care and attention as well it appears, his attention certainly wasn't on where he was going or what was on the road in front of him.

You are right but what does that have to do with Carragher and his reaction?

It has nothing to with it.

Maybe a passenger was filming.

But this is a guy paid a fair whack by Sky acting like a child.

Disgusting from Jamie. Lost respect for him after seeing that.

That said, the fella filming is an utter fucking prick who needs to get done for having his phone out while driving. I hope his daughter is proud of him. Prick.
Would be even more fun if you could stand up to a hook to the jaw for being a snidey bastard. But then that's reality! No one needs to 'swim or drown' in a coward's paradise.

If it was a former Manc you'd be calling for his head.

He should be sacked. He's a grown man acting like a tit.

Nope I wouldn't. If a footballer did it on a pitch l,whilst working, I wouldn't expect it either.

Some of the furore over this is ridiculous.

It’s a sackable offence.

On what basis?
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Disgusting from Carragher. I’m disappointed in him.

Also disgusting from the man shooting the video. He knew what he was doing by goading him on. Smartphones have created a generation of attention seeking cretins. They’ll bait and provoke anyone as long as they get their fifteen minutes.

A warning and maybe a fine would be fair enough. Sky won't sack him anyway, Neville's only on MNF part time now, no one is assed about watching any of the others aside from him and Carra.

Im no fan of his, but the reaction to this will be well over the top. He spat at a car.  IT happened to hit someone who had their window open. I wonder why her window was open, to get a reaction from Carragher no doubt.

As for the prospect of the driver filming, if that is the case, that should be the real story. However Scouse bashing will be more important than road safety.

Would have to watch again, but pretty sure it was her da that wound the window down and was goading Carra, not her. She's fucking 14 you idiot.

Just watched it again. You can clearly hear her tell her da to stop it. He's a fucking moron. Watch the video before posting absolute bollocks like this.

You'd imagine in this day and age Jamie's employment contract with Sky will have exit clauses to cover reputation in both directions.

Whether or not Sky chooses to exercise their right to early termination is another matter. Whilst to the Average Joe it might seem just, big business rarely is. He's an asset and he pulls in viewers, if they decide, in the balance, that this incident will be a detriment in viewing figures in the whole then he's gone but I'd expect they'll keep him on.

With regards the man filming, it will be interesting to see if it becomes a criminal/police matter.

Inexcusable from Carra, and all the more infuriating because of the fact that we are constantly defending ourselves against widespread (and in the main, false) accusations of this sort of behaviour, and a Reds legend gives them the ammunition they need to 'prove' their case.

That said, the father does not cover himself in glory either. Why does his immediate concern in the video appear to be pound signs? Why did he feel the need to go to a rag, and not to the police with his irrefutable evidence?
