From his expression it didn’t look great, didn’t he go straight down the tunnel?

Didn't have a physio with him, so maybe it's something they already know about and he's just strained it a little.

Confirmed as a hamstring injury.

Is that three players with hamstring injuries? Winning the group so early may prove vital so we can give some players a rest.

Wasnt it a hamstring injury against Chelsea too?

International break is pretty timely for a change, should hopefully get some bodies back

Unless Brazil decide to test his resolve
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

They can't ask someone with a hammy to travel ffs. The club would just refuse to let him go.

National teams are allowed to call up an injured player so their medical team can assess the injury.

That the federations cannot do. It was a poor attempt of a power play on their part, illegal too. They wanted to have the upper hand to ban him from club games for 10 days after the international break (I recall that was the time).

Bad news - from the website

Roberto Firmino sustained a serious hamstring injury during Liverpool’s win over Atletico Madrid, Jürgen Klopp has confirmed.

The Brazilian picked up the issue after coming on at half-time of Wednesday’s 2-0 victory at Anfield and is facing a period on the sidelines.

Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com on Friday: “Bobby is not good news with a serious hamstring injury, really unfortunate. We don’t know exactly how long he will be out but it will be not now after the international break directly. We have to work on that.”

Never ending, just absolutely relentless injuries. Should have put Taki on at 2-0 in a dead game but hindsight and all that, Mo, Sadio or Diogo can't be anywhere near the remaining two CL games, don't give a fuck if that means we have to play Adrian up top, just do it. Got to wonder if we are doing something wrong somewhere (not saying we are before I get jumped on), just wondering, there's bad luck then there's getting about 4 injuries a week! 3 hammy's in 10 days is it?

The one good thing about international breaks is they let your injured players heal up a bit without missing games. At least 2 weeks if Bobby's hamstring recovery will be during the break. Hopefully get Milner, Jones and Gomez back when we return.
