Disclaimer:

I have just finished an five hour set, with another one tomorrow night - and I'm on the Absolut - watching Ant-Man.

Here goes.

Premier League

Premier League winners: Chelsea

Champions League qualification: 2nd-4th: Man City, Man United, Liverpool (just got a suspicion)


Europa League qualification: 5th-6th: Leicester and Stoke

Premier League relegated teams: 18th-20th: Sunderland (LOLS!), Burnley, Hull.

Signing of the season: Want to say Xhaka as I've raved about him for years to everyone, but suspect Mkhitaryan is gonna have a airite season.

Flop of the season: David Moyes at Sunderland. See above.

Player of the year: Eden Hazard. See above.

Young player: Probably Rashford.

Top scorer: Daniel Sturridge (yep, I'm wavering here - but he's the best naturally gifted striker in the league) - OK, probably Aguero.

Manager of the Year: Antonio Conte.

First Manager to be sacked:  Guidolin at Swansea - expect them to have another shocker of a season - but survive due to the shiteness of those below them.

Domestic Cups

Fa Cup winners: Liverpool

EFL Cup winners: Stoke.  Because it'll be deserved for a decade or so, of pragmatism by Mr Coates - and they'll probably play some of the most delightful footy for the eye this season - in between 4-0 tonkings by the top four or five.

Community Shield winners: Leicester. Obviously.

European Football

Champions League winners: Barcelona.  The Empire Strikes Back.

Europa League winners: Probably Seville. Again.

La Liga winners: Barcelona.

Seria A winners: Juventus, but Napoli and Roma will come close again.

Bundesliga winners: Dortmund.  With that front four. Oh yep.

Ligue 1 winners: PSG. Hope to see Les Verts and L'OM regain some of their former greatness though.

Signing of the season: If Ibrahimovic scores 20+ as I suspect he will, hard to look beyond him on a free, really.

Flop of the season: In terms of big signings, I'm not sure N'Golo Kante will look as effective at a side expected to dominate possession in most games (though it remains to be seen how Chelsea play under Conte). Hate to say it, but I think the fee for Wijnaldum is big and it wouldn't shock me if he's not a regular for us. Also think Fernando Llorente might struggle, given his age and lack of pace.

Player of the year: I think it's probably time Sergio Aguero won it. Curious that he's never even been in a team of the year.

Young player: Is Harry Kane still eligible? If so, he'll probably win it again. I'd be disappointed if Emre Can isn't on the shortlist come March/April.

Top scorer: Really difficult to see beyond Aguero, but suspect Ibrahmovic will score 20+.

Manger of the Year: Pep Guardiola

First Manager to be sacked: Guidolin

Outlandish Prediction: I think Middlesbrough might finish top half, if that's outlandish. Although I guess Chelsea outside of the top six again also is...

Domestic Cups

Fa Cup winners: Liverpool. 10 years is too long.

EFL Cup winners: Manchester City as they always seem to.

European Football

Champions League winners: Think Juventus might do it this year. Them or Bayern.

Signing of the season: Mane will wreck the world and his pace at the high end of the pitch will turn Liverpool lethal against defensive teams.

Flop of the season: Pogba. Hard for a centre mid to justify £110m.

Player of the year: Gundogan will become the deeper metronome that City have needed and be the base for their title win. It'll be Guardiola from the dugout but Gundogan on the pitch who takes them from 4th to 1st.

Young player: Origi, we all know what he can do.
