He'll probably end up at West Ham sooner or later. Can't see Bilic last for much longer there and Brendan likes to play the possession football that's in their DNA.
When was the last time they were even considered a possession based team? They've played unremarkable football for ages.

I think he'll stay another season and see what happens. Post world cup might bring a national job that could interest him and there'll always be midtable English clubs who'll happily gave him.

Their fans will like his style of football and now that they're established in the PL sooner or later their board will give their fans what they want. Perhaps they'll go with a fancy foreign manager that's available though. They'll have some money to spend when the right manager for them comes along.

The Summer?  No chance.

He only signed a 4 year deal in April his words were "couldn't be happier".  His a Celtic fan and his not leaving after 1 year.  He keeps making the point this is just the start and there is a way to go.

Yes he could possibly win everything domestically in season 1 but that doesn't mean that all what he wanted to achieve.

He's made a massive statement and proved his point which is why I think there's more than a chance he goes this summer - but if he doesn't, then he probably stays ultra-long-term. His stock probably won't ever be any higher than it is now and the whole of Europe has seen his vindication after walked out of Anfield with his tail between his legs.

If you're him and you get a mega-offer from a PL team, I'm not sure it's possible to refuse. The chances of repeating this season's feats in 2017/18 are almost infinitesimally small and so next season probably doesn't ever taste as sweet, especially if they end up having a miserable CL campaign.

I just wonder that, when an offer comes in this summer - which it will - Brendan looks at it and thinks along similar lines - and my point is, that if he doesn't then he probably does stay there for a decade or more and keeps scooping up the titles and becomes a God. I personally don't see a half way house.

Unless Rangers gain serious strength in terms of playing squad and finances, allowing them to banish the other teams save for Aberdeen, which is a good long-term project ahead of the other clubs, then their fans I don't think are stupid: it'd take something very special like an Europa League title for Rodgers to mentioned in the same breath as Jock Stein. I think he's still a long way off Martin O'Neill there still.

If Rangers become competitive again and he somehow fends them off for ten years in a row well maybe then yes...

That league really needs a Rangers resurgence with immediate effect. Curious to see whether Caixinha is the right man for that job. If not they could do well appointing McInnes given the fabulous job he does at Aberdeen.

Thought I'd see what all the fuss was about, so am watching Scottish Cup final.

Celtic just scored the winner, but the standard is mediocre, and that's being kind.

Blows my mind how desperate some Liverpool fans are to have a pop at Rodgers

Personally wish him every success in the world as long as its not at our expense, just as I do Rafa. Both have had nothing but good things to say about our club even after being sacked.

Relief.

Well done  Brendan and the Bhoys on the treble.  Delighted.

"I have worked in the Premiership and the Championship. I think people know my qualities, the good and the bad. I don't think I would get another chance to mange the team I supported as a child, the club I was born into." Brendan Rodgers.

Brendan won't be here forever but I think we are getting a good few years out of him. All the noise is about trying to make a dent in Europe and that isn't just coming from Brendan. What is happening behind the scenes just now is to set the club up for the future. We might ultimately fail, but it long past time we displayed some ambition in the regard.

For some maybe a bad taste in the mouth how his tenure ended here, should of gone after Stoke, didn't and then sacked his coaching staff and we made poor signings.

Agreed, if he can have another summer of signings like the one just gone they can do a few things. I'd fancy them for a Europa run with a few more bodies and that crowd, though obviously that means fucking up a qualifier or finishing 3rd in the group first. The dislike is weird, never had a bad word to say about us, left behind some good players for Jurgen and gave us a season where you just had to laugh at how ridiculously good we were, he's a bit cheesy sometimes but harmless enough!

I don't know man. The way his achievements are being downplayed by some suggest they don't think it's the mark of anyone special. And when I say special I mean in terms of being a cut above most managers. I'm excited to follow his career.

It was actually a decent watch, even though most of the players out there are League 1 quality. Both teams had a right go and Aberdeen were giving as good as they were getting for about an hour. They looked absolutely shattered in the last 20 minutes though and it was just a matter of time before Celtic scored.

watched the game from 1-1 onwards

Aberdeen were the better side by a bit in the first half due to their physicality and endless running. I was thinking how long will they last.

2nd half was totally a different Celtic side altogether. Utterly dominant except for the brain fart that could have lost them the game. Just wondering when the goal would come and sure enough it did when Aberdeen tire in injury time.

Rogic and Armstrong looks good. Sinclair wasteful every time I see him play.

Congrats to Brendan and Celtic.
