none at all, two contradictory statements. Any non-English player gets roundly criticised for that dive because that's what it was, but because it's poor ickle Waheem who's made a stand against racism this year and stood up to that bully Joey Gomez he gets away with it. Typical motd editing today, despite us having all the shots in the first half and 3/4 of the possession, about the only thing they showed of that half was when Becker prevented Norwich from even taking a shot. Second half they couldn't avoid showing some of our attacks, but definitely tried to downplay our chances.

Credit to the Norwich manager for not screaming about VAR on our goal, but maybe he knew there was a far more blatant incident with VVD, regardless he didn't even try to blame VAR unlike a lot of managers would have done.

Yeah, well, from their perspective, unless you're putting 3 past a team, you're not playing well, despite limiting sides to 1 or two shots in a game playing away from home, and bossing shots, possession, corners, and chances created. Oh, and winning.

Murphy is typical of an attitude that football does need to obey the rules and that it somehow spoils the cosy world of cash that swirls around the sport, whether that be internal or external. Good old British eggs like Allardyce, Redknapp and Clough (allegedly) preferring large bags of cash.

As for fraud, how about Murphy getting paid large sums of cash for his useless opinions, crime in my eyes.

Shocking there was no mention at all of how many times Cantwell hit the deck after being attacked by a gust of wind (cuz let’s face it: no one touched him). They’re trying to create a narrative each game. The interview with Cantwell afterwards too, making out they could have won the game. They had one shot on target versus our 7. We dominated possession in the blustery conditions and, even though I dislike using xG for single games, the xG score had us (over?) 2 clear.
