back has been giving me grief, definitely a mattress in spare room i sleep in during week before work (baby waking up)

went back to normal bedroom during weekend and no bother. one night on the dodgy mattress i was in bits again

went to go to bed last night, while im downstairs feeding the baby the mrs went upstairs and managed to move a mattress in from another room for me. got up to see bed made and other mattress gone into another room (room is in a heap hence why i dont sleep in it)

she did all that to make sure id a better sleep

Being on holiday in Tenerife in January. Sat by the pool in shorts drinking a pint, chilled to fuck. Makes working for cnuts worthwhile.

Seeing young kids console each other after losing a penalty shoot out. Two of my players were really upset after losing 2-1 in the shoot out until a group of kids from the other team walked over to see if they were OK and to congratulate them on a great game.

It certainly put a smile on my face.

Flew back from Tenerife yesterday on a new EasyJet Airbus A320 NEO which only entered service on Thursday. Pilots let my two kids sit in the cockpit on the ground in Tenerife, which made their day, the eldest especially as he wants to be an airline pilot and was asking loads of questions.
