Been reading a bunch of interviews that Adam Savage has been giving and one thing stands out
Jamie and Adam aren't friends. They don't expect to talk or see each other very much after the show ends. Maybe once a year just to catch up. There will be no more collaboration unless they are paid.
That's very interesting. As I understand it when the show first started it was just going to be Adam, but he brought (or asked to bring) Jamie into the show because Adam thought he would be too dull and dry on his own and figured Jamie would be entertaining as well as educational.
I'm sure we've all seen the out takes of the arguments they could have, but I imagine they see each other as colleagues. Whilst they may not be friends I doubt they could have held the show together this long if they couldn't stand each other.
