If he was getting abuse who knows who it came from. Could be people pretending to be Liverpool fans. It's not exactly hard to do. I'm sure it all happens to all players of all clubs.

By the way if any of you are contemplating deleting your social media accounts in the slightest I urge you to do it straight away, rip the plaster off.

Nothing out the ordinary. The odd message and it wasnt from an LFC fan account or anything. He'd have got a lot worse after Scotland..

Its Mancs or Ev shit stirring but who knows why he deactivated? It's a non story. Was probably just pissed off after the game

I used to listen to all the phone-ins in my younger days late teens 80's/90s and I stopped listening because it became tediously obvious to me a fair amount of calls were of fans pretending to be fans of the other club - eg. exaggerated anger after a couple of dropped points to try and spread disunity and i'm sure a few of our fans have tried engaging in this practice in relation to the mancs/bluenoses. Twitter is the same now, Robbo should just ignore it though I know he's been getting grief from some scots fans lately.

I don't think he had his best game overall today, I thought he was a tad sloppy in possession at times, but that run at the end was absolutely phenomenal and the ref should have played advantage, it deserved a goal.

Interesting, he was my MotM.

They had pretty much nothing in terms of chances coming down his side.

Then there was the Freeeeeedom! run at the end.

He was Liverpool's best player alongside Matip, Trent and Fabinho (till his legs were gone). Imo, he was even a tad better than them.

I think I'd personally add VVD to the list, and put Robbo just after the other three in the back line. Good sign for how our defence is performing, right?

Yes, I am questioning my own potential bias here a bit. I thought Trent had had a solid game, but he only had 50 odd % pass completion. Obviously that doesn't (alone) mean he had a terrible game, but that's a LOT of possession to give to Chelsea. (Henderson's was similar, which is dreadful for a central midfielder).

Yeah that was quality, he’s got great fitness to be doing that so late on in the game. Matip loves a run like that from defence

Oh, in no way am I suggesting it happened just in that short period. But it’s those levels from being very good at something to being masterful that are most difficult to climb - and Andy just blew through it without slowing down at all. That takes a special type of drive and dedication, not to pause and savour your achievements - but to relentlesly plow on to the top. That was meteoric and unexpected to most.
