Gone.  Now there are 2.

I think now you need to get rid of the one that takes you to work, so that you can walk off all the dinners you have been itemising on the "What are you eating right now" thread. EcoRaul.

A £140 hand painted Nissan Primera.

The shame...

Console yourself with the fact that it still looks better than the new shape primera, ;-)

I’m still trotting around in a Volvo 850 as my commuting car. Its got almost 190K on it and oil pisses out everywhere and there’s no ac anymore – not sure how much longer I can nurture it – got it through 4 years so far but…

I nearly bought an old Porsche 944 this week – had to weight up all the pro’s and cons – but a lack of service history finally put me off. If I can find one with history at the right price then I’d be on it like a shot.

Laft my car into the BMW dealership for a service today, and was handed a brand new (well, 2000 miles on the clock) 2006 M3 Sport as my courtesy car.

Every toy imaginable, full leather, tinted windows, heated seats, MP3 etc...

I hope the service takes a loooonnnnggg time :D

I think they're trying to tempt me. I think it's working. :lickin

Don't think I could ever buy a BMW, their indicators don't work and they have the tendancy to have accelerator/brake malfunctions at junctions resulting in the poor driver looking like a complete knob as he hurtles out in front of oncoming traffic.
As a young man Cameron looked out on the social carnage of pit closures and mass unemployment, looked at Margaret Thatcher's government and thought, these are my people. When all the debating is done, that is really all I need to know.

I bought a new Honda Accord Coupe a couple of months ago. Heated leather seats, duel air conditioning, iPod link, so I can listen and charge it at the same time, steering wheel stereo controls, XM Radio (free for three months).

Of course, I got it in red.

There was a recall on the BMW's and those who do drive them in the right manner went back to get the malfunctions fixed!!

I didnt of course!!

and yes i do own the road!!  ;)

I just bought this 2006 Honda Accord.  It's got more bells and whistles than I need but I do like the leather interior and the in-dash 6-CD changer.  Don't really need the heated front seats here in California!

I got the same one, Bobby. I added the ground kit, spoiler and few other exterior things. It already had the tinting and wood grain interior, and I'm glad of both.

I'll be getting the windows tinted soon.  So far I'm very pleased with the car.  It's the third Accord I have had and I had the first two for ten years each.

The only other thing I may get is the iPod docking station attachment.

Second for me. It'll be hard to go with anything else

The dock is great. Perfect quality, as you'd expect. But the software is more trouble than it's worth. It never worked (at least for me) and even after being uninstalled there are still a few screwy things with itunes and my pod.

Shame about the rock hard seats though, no good for long journeys, although the lumbar support is good. Sat Nav in the 2.4 exec is a joke, well unless you are my dad and can put up with the lag cos he's a bit slow anyway. Bar that, cracking car, just couldn't be doing 25k/year on those seats and using that sat nav.

I used to drive an old SAAB 9000 2.3 LPT, didn't handle particularly well but it was a fantastically relyable car, built like a tank, lots of turbo power and we ran it until about 180k miles on it.  It was still in nearly mint condition.

Just seen some absolute bargains for second-hand SAAB 9-3's and 9-5's, tempted by the 2.8 Aero, trying to find one with less than 150 g/Km CO2 and over 60 mpg, still looking....  ::)

(oh, and Clarkson did a great write-up on the 2.8 Aero in the Times, really loves the car.)

They are lovely to drive despite being LHD and I must say I am very tempted at the minute..
