Loved your Edge of Tomorrow pick by the way. Time loops are one of my favourite sci-fi themes. Also, 'have I got something on my face, soldier?'

Haha so was I. I have a soft spot for 21 Jump Street though. I know it's shite objectively, but it's enjoyable shite.

21 Jump Street is stupidly funny, nothing wrong with that. Gone Girl was good too, haven’t seen too many of the others you suggested.

I've only ever seen the first 5 minutes of Looper. My neighbour phoned through complaining about the noise of my TV so I just turned it off and have never got round to watching it again.

This was at 7pm on a Saturday evening by the way, and happens every couple of weeks now. Silly woman.

What's your beef with Looper?  It's a good watch.  It's a bit of a mess, logically, but there's not many of that ilk that aren't.

I was thinking about Looper as well, surprised at SM's vitriol

But then I like all of Rian Johnson's films and decided to go with Knives Out instead.

Also, I know they're not high art and got mixed reviews but I was seriously considering Venom 1 & 2. Both are a lot of fun Tom Hardy's performances as both is brilliant.
