The Apprentice

6th Jan BBC1

No doubt the usual mix of a couple of half decent business people and a massive group of bellends thrown in. Can’t wait!

No Claude Littner this year sadly, although wouldn’t be shocked to see him appear for the interviews

I mean that's winning by default, I wouldn't get too excited if I were them.

The American Bonnie Langford is pretty irritating.

Absolute cringe by the boys. Should have fired half of the boys on the spot. Hate nearly all of the contestants, can’t wait for week 2!

Probably had one of the shitty business plans?

The problem (well, one of many...) with this show since it changed from its original premise (at which point it should have had a name change...) is that, when the BPs get handed in early - you're always going to be in a situation where the strongest 2 or 3 plans get kept in whatever (alongside a token joker that Claude can call a useless c*nt).

Just think his decision making is very inconsistent. I'd much rather he fired that guy for turning up to the boardroom in a pink suit.

He fired the guy who pointed out how crap the wave logo was rather than the rest of them who came up with the idea didn’t he?

Although he sketch was a bit mental too. Did seem a tad unfair but as said, business plans maybe play a part of it.

Timo Werner lives to fight another day anyway.

I love how a couple of them spent a few minutes saying how shit the name was and when she came out of the presentation she denied that ever happened.

That felt so heavily scripted last night - especially the opening lines from Sugar, where he 'bantered' them.

I can't believe no-one pulled up that 'bouji' girl over her total inability to explain what it meant. I would have loved if someone asked her if it derived from bourgeoisie and if she knew what that meant.

Why did the boys do a logo with no name with it, that was incredibly dim. I don't think the girls were much better eithef. Both team leaders were awful.
