I like that.

Very reminiscent of another local band from the Smithdown Road area, Takotsubo Men. Even the vocalist puts me in mind of a young Ste Williams, who is Takotsubo Men's singer and who used to front Mersey legends Cecil in the 90s.

One of my most vivid early childhood memories was the driver of the 10A bus (MPTE in those days) playing OMD Electricity as we were waiting to leave the Pier Head. I must have been all of 8 and everytime I hear that song now it reminds me being on the bus in the Pier Head. Happy, happy days!  ;D ;D ;D

One of the best bands to ever come out of Liverpool, Edgar Jones is a talent up there with any of his contemporaries. What a tight band seeing as it’s been years since they last played together. Just superb stuff and if you are going to see them tonight you will be very impressed.

You know Magpyes an all do ya mate ;D

Don’t know the rest of the band. Was meant to go see em (VIdNas) when they got signed, in town. Didn’t go as lockdown came in.

Sorry, misread that as Tom from Video Nasties. Probably do know him just can’t recall him at the minute. Name rings a bell though

He has been in quite a few noise bands over the years Corupt Moral Altar being the most recent

been listening to a punk new wave/heavy metal band called marseille who were from liverpool, and the fella from art attack neil buchanan was in the band, think they were from the aintree area.

Another shout for Marseille.

Merseyside produced a few boss hard rock bands in the late 70s/early 80s.

Dunno if anyone remembers 'Next' - they eventually morphed into 'Afraid Of Mice', but Next were a full on rock band - very Sensational Alex Harvey Band inspired (hence the name).
