For goodness' sake man, at least give it a go.

Q: Is there any danger of exceeding expectations this season?
MOYES: I don't think so, no.  I hope not, because one thing I've tried to do is set them realistically right from the start.  It's one thing that keeps me awake, actually, the idea that we might have given people false hope.  I've tried to be honest about the size of the task we face this season.  If we do somehow get out out of it, I feel I'll have failed.

As I type this out this is how the bottom half of the League stands.

Half time and score is WBA 2-0 Sunderland.

Selling van Aanholt to Fat Sam at Crystal Palace. Guessing they're resigned to going down then?
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

I'd love Lescott to be Van Aanholt's replacement. The clock ticks by over the next week with no new left back coming in, and then he's named as left back against Spurs and Sunderland fans realise what Moyes has done.
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

In the right system Van Aanholt is a great talent. He gets exposed every now and again because there's utter dross around him, but with some cover he'd be a very good marauding full-back. Letting him go to Palace for peanuts is completely bonkers.

Less said about Lescott the better. He's a joke.

I thought he was out for the season.

His original problem was at Athens he got injured (cartlidge damage) and didn't want to get treated in Greece, he wanted to go to the UK for treatment. (Twat)

No idea how he's suddenly fine?

It's surely only a matter of time before Hibbert, Osman, Jaglielka & Gibson join these.

What on earth is going on there. How are there fans just sitting back and accepting this.

He's fine because of that high quality UK treatment  :P

But seriously, a professional athlete is hardly a twat for seeking out the best possible medical treatment. We frequently sent players down to London or fly them out the the US if that's where the best treatment is.

I doubt he wanted to go back to the UK for treatment.

He clearly lacks any kind of commitment to his clubs, as shown by his time at Villa.

Seen this posted on The internet. An entire starting xi made up of David Moyes signings at Sunderland. can still shoehorn Steven Pienaar in there as well!

Gotta be room for a few more Everton and united rejects surely

Sunderland have signed Republic of Ireland midfielder Darron Gibson and Costa Rica left-back Bryan Oviedo from Everton.

Oviedo, 26, has agreed a contract until 2020, while Gibson, 29, joins on an 18-month deal - both for undisclosed fees.

The pair have been fringe players under Toffees boss Ronald Koeman this season.

Sunderland's David Moyes has now signed three players this month - including Joleon Lescott - who he also signed when he was in charge at Everton.

Steven Pienaar and Victor Anichebe, who also played under Moyes at Goodison Park, have already moved to Wearside this season.

You cannot call overseas Liverpool supporters glory hunters. We’ve won one trophy this decade. If they’re glory hunters, they’re really bad ones. They’re actually journey hunters. It’s the journey and the story. Something about Liverpool has grabbed them." - Neil Atkinson (May, 2019)

Reckon you could probably switch Denayer and McNair's positions. Although that's like swapping herpes for genital warts - you're still riddled.

We have to remember that during our terrible run, at least we're not Sunderland fans. Why does Moyes keep signing injury prone players?? I've heard of coaches being arrogant in thinking they can turn players around (Balotelli being a prime example), but coaches being arrogant in thinking they can prevent players getting injured.... baffling.

In a relegation scrap and turn to a lad who's played 17 league games in 3 and a half years!! It's not like he's some super talent that if you get him on the pitch for just 5 games he'll get you 10 points or something, he's absolutely horrendous. His transfers stink of palms getting greased.
