I like this better (just passed my basic level 3 Brasilian Portuguese with a B- in grammar )
the e should be an é (e = and é = is)
Na terra dos cegos
o homem com um olho é o rei
Although the bow-legged chicken would be great too
I know this is an old post but just happened to see this and Portuguese is my 2nd language. This one reads better, the only thing I would change is to take off the "o" before the rei(king). It would be the equivalent of adding 'the' in the english expression, ie. gramatically correct but redundant.
'Em terra do cegos' reads to me as: At land of blind
where as 'Na terra dos cegos' reads to me as: In the land of the blind
Now I could be wrong, I'm no linguistic expert afterall but Kavah's version is how I would translate it. I could always get a 2nd opinion if you wanted it made. Let me know...
Anyway just came to say that I always thought this should be made as a banner:
We don't park the bus....
we have a Van.
