And Kante has better stats this season. We are going for titles, so we need World Class in every position. Fabinho can't be considered world class. Maybe a loan will sort him out?

A loan won't make him any faster will it? No, better to just get rid.

That’s pretty much his level - playing for Brazil. Not sure how he’s expected to make it here.

I think he’s joking, but it’s hard to tell with Giono which nonsense opinions he’s joking about and which ones are serious :D
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

It's not as if they've had legendary fullbacks/wingbacks over the years, is it?

Played the last 30 minutes or so at right back I think. They won and kept a clean sheet, so didn't do too bad.
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

He will definitely be getting some game time in the next two/three (IMO) with the knocks the others have got so a couple of run outs for Brazil should have helped him getting up to speed.

Fucking hell its almost like people don’t remember how long Chamberlain and Robertson were on the bench for until Klopp started integrating them into the first team. Must have been November time before Klopp felt they’d learned enough. Add to that the recent games were City and Chelsea and it’s pretty fucking obvious that he wouldn’t be thrown in the deep end in such an important position. I imagine we may well see him start one of the next 3 games and make a sub appearance in another now we have a better run of games to give him some minutes in.

Think he definitely showed lots of promise today, mainly in breaking up play, as you would expect. I imagine the reason Jürgen is reluctant to play him yet is he must sometimes get caught out of position.

Doubt it will be long before he becomes a regular.

I always remember his performance against City in the Champion's League when he was a Monaco player he was utterly ruthless in his breaking up of play, and I'm sure he got two assists in one of the games as well. He's made a promising start, hope he gets a start next.

Wonder if Jürgen's reluctance to play him yet might involve him being more used to playing right-back?

Even though he apparently played as a defensive midfielder lots for Monaco, he probably still doesn't feel 100% comfortable there.
