Beer Gardens

Any pubs/bars in the centre with decent outside spaces? Ideally more towards Old Hall/Dale St way rather than the other side of town.

Matou has a great terrace - right in front of the Three Graces.

Yeah been to Lady of Mann and Matou, both normally rammed. Didn't realise Hus had a roof terrace to be honest.

Fucking hate Matou, once and never again. Service is shocking, as sloppy as it is snotty!

Not sure if the cross keys has a roof terrace. Think it does actually

Not sure if the cross keys has a roof terrace. Might do.

They do but it's normally in the shade and pretty small.

I'll pass that on to the Manager - he's my husband - he'll be thrilled with your feedback.

Not a problem. Took ten minutes to get served (no one else at the bar). Lady serving us didn't even crack a smile, served a pint in a dirty glass, me dad had to ask her to change it.

Was about 2 years ago mind but not been back since.

I think I know who you mean and she is no longer there.

All I know is my husband works his arse off - so I was really disappointed to read your comments.

The Cross Keys also has a small space outdoors as well.

Not quite a beer garden though.

At least this way you've had an honest opinion instead of someone telling you what they think you'd like to hear.
But, as Upinsmoke says, it was two years ago. I imagine a lot has changed in the meantime  :)
What you need to do, is invite RAWK along for a night of free beer and entertainment, so we can see if anything has changed  :wave
If your moral compass is Piers Moron then I ask you to think whether someone who oversaw illegal phone hacking and published fake pictures depicting War Crimes is an appropriate person to look up to. In fact, I'd suggest you're a bit of a c*nt.

Seconded funnily enough. It was booming at the time like.
Also was waiting once to order a drink, group of girls come and they got served before me. Pissed me off that did.

Food was sound though  :)

Even worse when said group of girls ask for a large selection of hand made cocktails.

That's a real pisser.

That Oh Me, Oh My place is pricey as people say, but also be aware when I went last time they had ONE toilet which was mixed, I am talking a tiny cubicle and around 20 people queuing to use it. Not sure if things have changed since, it could be that the building work at West Africa House at the time had something to do with it, there was bags of cement and crap all up the stairs.

That said, the views are amazing.

Nothing better than Oh me, Oh My in the sun. Pricey and poor drink selection, but the location is the best in the city.
