Impressive from Sporting to be honest. Astana are mighty tough to face away.

Leipzig should win tonight. Don't think Napoli are arsed. They'd only sold 6,000 tickets the other day!

We'll see how arsed they are.  Nice way to go into a game though, making sure everyone believes you aren't bothered :D

Pathetic from their fans though. And yes I know they are conentrating on winning the league.

Sporting would face against Astana. They'll feel that -30c air in their lungs and extremities.

Yikes - just googled Astana - the things you don't know you don't know, it's the 2nd coldest city on the planet! They say a midweek game at Stoke is a challenge :D

Great to see Marco Reus back in action again. Fabulous player.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Can see Batsuayi being a hit at dortmund. They’ll create the chances for him and he will put them away.

Great counter by Dortmund. Schurlle pass to Reus who is through on goal but puts it wide. Angle was probably suited more to a left footer.

Because teams from that region were considered part of Europe before the break up of the Soviet Union.
It's not for that reason, otherwise Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan would be in UEFA as well. Kazakhstan is no way in Europe, but UEFA want to be as big as possible, and Kazakh clubs probably prefer playing in Europe than Asia.

Totally forgot Milan were in this.  They seem like such an irrelevance nowadays. :(
Yeah, it's sad. Seven-time European champions, now they're in the Europa League and nowhere near winning the Italian league.

And just when I was thinking how shit Atalanta looked first half  :butt

What a goal by Michy though  ;D  Makes it 2-2.

4 goals in 3 games for him now.

And almost 3-2, a lovely flick by Michy. But side netting from Pulisic.

Ac Milan are going through a shit time like us in the early 90' (Souness era)

Some players in that Milan team should who have no right to wear that shirt.

A long long way away from those great 90's -00's Milan teams i remember fondly.

They've some very good players, they just don't play good stuff at all. Slow, laboured buildup and struggling to break with any pace. I would love us to sign Kessie though, he's got untold amounts of talent.

yes it would be all kinds of crazy!

I think there are many reasons, they have had 3 coaches in the last 3 seasons. All with really differing styles. They miss Mats Hummels like crazy - how do even beging to replace him, they tried but not got anywhere near doing so.

They have had a lot of injurires - like a crazy amount, they have had to use so many defenders this season, central defenders playing fullbacks, Weigl playing centre back one game, fullbacks having to switch sides. They must have used about 6 different central defensive pairings! And then they had to sell Marc Bartra, so now they have another new cetranl defender to integrate.

And then a goalie who has been in poor form and lacking in confidence too.

So yeah, all sorts I guess! But it is crazy, they are so unsettled back there.

Celtic need to do damage here. Zenit haven't played a proper game for 2 months. They'll definitely improve for the run so to speak, so Celtic need a lead.

Copenhagen lead against Atletico. Good news for those of us watching it for free on the BT website, as they can't play like an Allardyce side now.

Viktor Fischer, the guy that absolutely dismantled us in a youth game when he was at Ajax, scored it.
