Also, Cardiff also kept a clean sheet. Should've heeded Neil Warnocks' advice and gotten Sol Bamba instead of Virgil - way cheaper and the same result. Shite financial management and scouting

Ok Brighton didn’t manage a shot on target but what’s all this 7 attempts off target? Not good enough, those off targets can easily be deflected on target. Hope Klopp has them in early tomorrow to work on our defensive deficiencies.

Yeah I wish we could make investments like Sigurðsson and Richarlison, rather than have to rely on selling Coutinho to buy players like Alisson and van Dijk - who conceded three against Palace, just like Mignolet and Škrtel did. Just imagine had we had Howard and Jagielka instead back then? What a waste

We are top of the table because of the football gods. Just look at the top of the other 4 main leagues, and you will see that you have to have an L at the start of the name to be top. Libpool, Leeds Luton Lincoln Leyton, and in northern Ireland? Linfield & Larne. Nothing to do with ability.

Exactly. And its only this way cos we're about halfway through the season so naturally the L's will be top. Was Arsenal right at the start before the first match kicked off and will be Wolves nailed on to win it at the end. Don't know what all this fuss is about when we're only top cos the league obviously runs alphabetically.

And let's face it, we've pinched draws against Leicester and West Ham. The thing is, I have so much trust in our management team - you just know they will always put their best foot forward, and be working hard on the training ground to learn from our mistakes and get us right for the next games coming up.

I'm going to pour myself a nice drop of scotch and enjoy my evening. For this is a fucking exciting season and I'm loving it.
