I’m amazed those city fans actually found the article as it’s nowhere near most outlets I look at. Only place I could find it was BBC. All you can see is Sarri stories and Pep getting some comments in about Sarri facing getting sacked, which is nice of him to stoke it up some more.

But they haven’t lied. The information is “taken out of context” and some of the evidence is “hacked and stolen”. Plus, a gentleman like Guardiola would never accept something like that.

I don't really feel this strongly about this competition, mainly because I don't feel its necessary to have two domestic cup competitions. I've always wondered why they don't turn it into a comp for the lower division clubs instead, then just have the FA Cup as the one meaningful contest for all of the clubs. It's only the likes of City and Chelsea who can challenge in four different competitions anyway.

I agree though, couldn't care less which one of those teams won today.

I think everyone feels that way, it explains why other supporters would prefer them to win the league over an actual club.  I certainly feel that way, you can live with any of their wins (except those that come at our expense) as they’ll always have an asterisk beside them.

I’m trying to learn to feel the same way about Chelsea.  I feel like the last fifteen years would’ve been much easier on my blood pressure if I hadn’t fallen into the trap of feeling like they somehow mattered.
