Saw the first ep and loved it. The scene with the Elton John song at the end was hilarious. I'm guessing the 2nd ep is out today so I'll definitely check it out when I get home.

Just watched the first two episodes.

Rarely do shows make me laugh out loud - this did it.

Very good choice.

I love in the first episode, before showing the family the baby, trying to tell them his boyfriend isn't THAT dramatic.  ;D

Pretty good, but it's no 30 Rock.

Didn't know it was trying to be. Both very different shows. Time will tell. Very promising start so far.

Just few of the class moments on yesterday's ep

Air pistol scene
Meeting the boyfriend
Music/lights when bringing out the baby
"You have to admire animals. Hamster spun round in a wheel three times bigger than him and abruptly lands on his back. Then just gets up and carries on as if nothing happened! If that was a human he'd be helicoptered to hospital, off work for 6 months have back issues for 20 years and then start legal proceedings against the wheels owner"

Just watched this from Sky 1 - fucking brilliant. It's not often I laugh out loud watching TV but I did during this. Loved the bit with the dress when she said "Thanks, Phil" and he said "Ok" and copped a feel. Superb writing and well delivered.

Came to this thread a bit late, but from what I've read, the real relationship trouble is not between you and your girl, but between you and a small box of Tampax. You obviously need something more substantial in your life like a huge Costco sized box of jam rags, seeing as you're such a massive fucking quim

everyone in here is wrong, its fuckin shite. It's like 10 years behind 'The Office'; granted it's not in an office, but still, it's not even half as funny in the way that was. Plus it's american and there sense of humour is questionable.
I watched one espisode today and the only really funny bit was that dad talkin about how he's cool and surfs the web, and texts ppl with "LOL, laugh out loud. OMG, oh my god. WTF, why the face". I probably only found that funny cos I'd seen it so many damn times on the adverts.

Sayin all that, theres one thing I do love about the show, and shes called Sofia Vergara :P

She is certainly open minded when it comes to home movies...

But whenever I hear about those sorts of "tapes" it reminds me of the Jordan - Dane Bowers one and I feel the need to be violently ill again.
