That one never made it past the 1 page either :)

To be honest most people just use the NON football bets thread for horse bets or use the special threads for the big festivals such Cheltenham, Aintree, Epsom whatever.

Still..another Horse racing thread is not a prob to me. Just killing time until I finish work.

Good luck with Flamborough Breeze in the 17:15

Yeah man. I'll get the usual Cheltenham Tipster competition thread rolling sometime early next week ready for Tuesday 10th.

Sure one of the more knowledgeable racing posters will start a proper Cheletenham 2015 thread to discuss bets and stuff.

I avoid betting on horses at this time of year. A lot of horses are getting prepared for Cheltenham, Aintree and even Punchestown. You'll probably find a lot of big priced winners over the next couple of weeks.

Village Vic jumped really nicely the whole way around and never looked like being caught.

I like the look of Kim Bailey's in the 16:50, Crazy Jack. It's been backed into evens now but with the better ground am confident of a good run, stable in great form too.

Anyone got anything they consider a banker for the festival then? Think two that look nicely priced are Sempre Medici in the county hurdle and think on the fringe will start clear fav for the fox hunters so worth getting on now.

The obvious one for me is Faugheen. He looks like a fucking machine. The only doubt is that he isn't going to have ran for a while come the festival. But on what he's shown so far he looks the one to beat, some firms daring to go odds against as I type.

I can't have Faugheen as a banker yet myself. A machine he might be but he hasn't come up against anything like Jezki or The New One yet. Certainly wouldn't touch it at the prices though I am on at 7s. Annie Power in the mares should be a procession. Also if Un De Sceaux gets round it wins.

Faugheen next week in the champion hurdle is nailed on at EV'S...my banker of the meeting! Its not what you beat its how you win and this horse is a winner.

His jumping isn't always spot on and hasn't run since the Christmas Hurdle on Boxing Day which would also be a worry. Granted it isn't a great Champion Hurdle field, however I wouldn't want to be taking evens about him.

Spot on. Evens is a ridiculous price. Hasn't beaten anything yet and jumping isn't all that. No value whatsoever at evs. Think the value is well and truly with Arctic Fire myself.

cant see it been beaten, poor renewal.
if you wanna be the best you gotta beat the best

I'll make two predictions of this...Carroll won't score 3 PL goals total for the rest of the year and we won't score 5 against any team all year.  We might still get CL football without either happening.

I use a forum where there's a few people who know their stuff.

Pendra in the 2:40 handicap on the first day is being talked up. Aimed specifically at this race, and is in to 7s from 12/1. Rumoured that that's because the owner's money is behind it.

I'm on it mate. Longsdon said AP did some work on him at his yard and said he felt great.

I just think if it wasn't running for Mullins and owned by Ricci it wouldn't be fav. Hasn't won left handed and just outpaced stayers LTO. People are easily forgetting Allez Colombieres was initially their main supreme hope. Any other year and the L'Ami Serge form would make him clear fav in my opinion.

If it runs, tiger roll is currently 20/1 for the coral cup. Has course form with winning the triumph hurdle last year. Has had pretty much the same build up and the ground looks to be the same. Good ew shout with cooper on board.
