I couldn't check out either. Not on delivery anyway. Had to opt for collect from club. Don't trust collect from Forest.

Genuine question because I haven’t seen any posts about it but…
How come our away ends seem so shite? For the ones on here who go, is it badly touted our end?

I know we’ve been shite lately but we was years ago and our end has never been bad as it is now.

it was bad when we were crap too, you can probably go back on threads here and find similar posts from Rodgers days (as an example). blaming 'tourists' is an easy excuse, when we're crap many of our regulars look like they'd rather be anywhere else.

bad then would probably be classed as good now  :-[
Literally can’t hear a word anymore and then you see story’s about sites having access to so many tickets.
Just shite when we’re not playing well the away end looks finished to make it even worse.

Hasn't been a good away end for a few seasons let alone this season. Other than F**k the Tories not enough people join in.

Also the 3/400 that go to sponsors evey match could go to the you lads 14-20 and that atmosphere would change instantly

Because their support is absolutely shite. Can probably buy a ticket for any game of theirs without any previous history

Yeah it’s not realistic for us but it’s a nice thought. There has to be some way for us to get on the league ladder as we’ve never had a chance.

Only realistic chance is if we are shite again corporates jib the aways and voila.

a system of 100-200 per game for say age 18-21 would be nice. Once you're outside the age range then you are ineligible. It could be like a supporters group or something for the younger adults.

Makes me the laugh though how are away system is a closed shop, yet years gone by you look at our away end and wonder how people get the tickets?

I’ve only been one away in the ten last seasons (Wigan) and that was a corporate ticket.
No chance of spares unless I pay over FV. Live football tickets have them up at £200+ For a away in our end.

Look at the price for Wednesdays game  ::) remember footy was supposed to be for the working class

personally i think the assumption our away support will get 'better' if we have more younger fans is a bit of a stretch. some of our younger regulars look just as bored as the older ones  ;D

I don't go to aways that often cus it's hard to find spares but I did go on Saturday and it was dire. Nobody was interested in singing...just moaning and getting inside to drink. We used to sing inside the concourse to get ourselves going but now nothing...just a few trying but quickly dying out. We had the whole ground taking the piss out of us and still nothing. I don't know if it's tourists or what but to be fair there was plenty of regular locals. Yes there is plenty of old fans in who can't be bothered, but there was busses full of youngsters too so no excuse.

I'm all for the anti Thatcher and fuck the tories, I absolutely despise the tories. But a lot of people don't seem to know any other songs. The only other song that seems to get a good run out these days is "bring on yer Internazionale" even in league games?! :butt

I'm 31 mate, trust me i don't need educating

Just rather our support be orientated about our team, rather than fuckin bastarding Margaret Thatcher and the tory party to be totally honest with you, bored to tears with it and i wont be the only regular who thinks the same i imagine. It does absolutely nothing for our atmosphere (apart from against Leicester, i'll admit that)

Half the people singing it probably do to be fair. It’s just something people jump on to now, anything that someone doesn’t like = Tory behaviour. I don’t even think people understand it other than having been conditioned to think Tory bad, labour good.

I don’t disagree with the general sentiment by the way, but agree it’s way overused at the match now

i agree with you. dont agree with celebrating the fact somebodies died and id prefer us to promote an alternative political party than sing what we do,
Sir, the cash monies?
