No I did in an act of generosity (stupidity) that cost me £113   :(

To be fair though mine have paid my way for 25 years! And her dad is always first to get a round in at the bar, so I suppose it was overdue... next time I may just forget my wallet!

I didn't think you had a wallet  ... or any sort of liquid currency? I've never seen any evidence of it at any pub, or football ground, that we've ever been to?

Next you'll be telling me you know how to order a round of drinks ...  :o  ;)

Salif Diao was real nice whenever I met him, I met him during his first season in the italian kitchen, he was on the table next to us. He finished his meal, then signed a few autographs for the kids with us, got his picture taken and scramed. Good guy, shit player.

I reckon he probably lives around Sefton Park, Houllier used to go running there and had a swish apartment overlooking the park, I think Sami might have a place there too.

Momo lives off Hope Street in town.

Claim to fame was getting pissed with the living legend that is Jonny Ball in the old sports bar in North John St whilst watching Liverpool beat Roma in 2001. Spot on fella and big red. Did point out how he managed to bring a daughter up who was a man utd fan and what was he playing at!

At the time he thought GH would take us to the title so obviously wasnt the genius that the tv show made him look like. Fucking know-it-all!!

I saw Father Christmas today, at my local garden centre.
He sat my little lad on his knee and whispered "what would you dream of for christmas"?
The answer was simple,
" Torres to rip those inbred c*nts to pieces !".

First of all, are you likely to see a horse outside Asda in Huyton - no (well not in this weather anyway - it would surely be inside Asda), Asda Aintree maybe, as they may have an aisle or two specifically for horse products.

Secondly, assuming there is a horse outside Asda Huyton and by some freak of nature it possessed a hand (and was prepared to shake said extremity) would it be logical to try and engage it in conversation - I think 'no' also.

Ergo, we are impelled to the conclusion that our intrepid consumer indeed encountered RY the man. Unless of course it was RY the hamster - a friend of mine has a hamster called Ron Yeats and as it happens it does shop at Asda in Huyton but not usually on a Friday.
