Not sure on the strength of the race that. I had Remember Now done as a horse to pick up a decent Novice Handicap Hurdle in the Spring as the last two outings spanked of a big yard getting a horse a reasonable mark to pick up one of those with. The run today showed there's ability there and it'll be interesting to see what mark he gets.

2011 US PGA Tour starts tomorrow with the Hyundai Tournament of champions.

Pretty good field as far as i can see but the 100-1 on offer at Skybet for Heath Slocum stands out for me.

Darren Clarke and Lee Slattery in the African Open.

I've just layed New Zealand at odds on, at about 156/5.

I'm quite bemused at that, I have to admit.

Very long shot, but has anyone seen anything of Soderling this week?

Caught Stepankek's last two games, and he looks to be in very, very good form. Quite tempted to have a lay of Soderling 2-0.

Stepanek is infuriating, goes from classy shots to a bag shite in any given game

Federer's was good if you wanted a quickish return on your investment. It's Soderling's to lose imo but I'd rather wait til Aus Open than get involved.

I was pleasantly surprised by this when I woke this morning

Decided to lay the draw @ 3.2 yesterday... couldn't believe it when I found out Pakistan had won with 2 days to spare :)

Made a bit of money laying the draw in the last 2 ashes tests as well :)
I wish I'd be a bit more spontaneous. Sometimes I feel like going out, stealing a traffic cone, putting it on my head and saying, "Look at me, I'm a giant witch."

I'd be wary of it to be honest, had a long match with Lopez.

Gianni and Wholey still around? They were good for the odd tennis tip.

If there's anything that Del Potro doesn't suffer from, it's fatigue. Man's a freak of nature.

Anyway, I've backed Dolgopolov for the Aussie Open ;D

I'd side with del Potro tonight. Be a tight game with few service breaks and I think del Potro's quality will see him through the latter stages of the sets when things get close. I reckon he'll win it in straight sets with one of them being a tiebreaker.

Dolgo is one to watch this year. He had a good end to the year last year and should start to become a more regular feature in the latter stages of the 250 level tournaments. Golubev's been noted for me as well.

Only thing I like tonight is Kohlschreiber at 4/9. He wasn't great in the first set against Berlocq but soon romped home once he got into his stride and his slow start in that match is probably the reason why we're getting 4/9 here. He's a former winner in Auckland as well so he's got previous. Granollers does all his work on clay and has a terrible record on hard courts at ATP level. This should be a breeze.

Graeme Swann MOTM 12/1 £5 on on a wicket that will turn a wee bit and spin can take some big wickets in T20

Eoin Morgan leading england run scorer £5 on at 5/1
He posts in the day, he posts in the niiiiiiggghht,

Looks pretty gash judging by the stats. Marked down as one to oppose in the early stages of the AO.

Kohlschreiber wasn't at his best but got the job done and I'll invest in Nalbandian tonight @ 4/7 against Isner. Pretty poor match up for Isner and if Nalbandian gets the ball in play then big John is in a heap of trouble as he simply won't be able to rally with him. Haase had Isner beaten yesterday but somehow let him slip through his clutches but Bandy won't let the same chance slip tonight and I think 4/7 is a great price.

To make things worse, Querrey got knocked out as well, who wouldn't played Dolgopolov. Was looking forward to seeing how that was priced  :(

Nice 4/5 play tonight.

In the Caribbean T20 Somerset are playing Guyana.

Guyana were absolute toilet in their first game against Jamaica on Monday, and I feel Somerset's experienced bowling line-up will be far too much for a deeply average Guyana side who freakishly qualified for the Champions League last year, because Larry Babb dropped a sitter and palming it over the boundary with Guyana needing 6 to win off the last ball. Clown.

Overrated, poor side. Somerset will win by a canter 4/5

Highest opening partnership Somerset 5/6

Highest first 6 over score Somerset 5/6

I'd be surprised if any of those lose.

On all of them for small stakes. Completely taken your word for it! Nice one for the shout.

Pissing down at the cricket, shame because Guyana have made a particularly dreadful start to proceedings.

Opening partnership of 2. So that one looks fairly safe!

Although the PGA event is in Hawaii this week the course is being touted to play like a British links course. Big winds coming in from the ocean and lots of rain (round 1 already postponed yesterday because of rain). Emphasis on accuracy and tricky greens to contend with.

This said I'm going to have an EW pop on two Englishmen in the field:

Justin Rose 30-1
Brian Davies 175-1
