So 5 games from package E are Monday, Friday and Sunday 2pm. Looking at last season, we had 7 of them.

I think there were 4 actually in Package E (Palace A, Wolves A, West Ham A, Southampton A), Man City & Huddersfield A were in Package G, but were both 2000 KOs (Man City was a Bank Holiday & I'm not 100% sure why Huddersfield got put in this package) & then Watford H was a midweek 2000 KO but not on TV.

I'm talking about:
Sunday - West Ham (H) & Fulham (A)
Monday - Palace (A) & West Ham (A)
Friday - Wolves (A), Southampton (A) & Huddersfield (H)

Perhaps Huddersfield away was a schedule swap to guarantee us being on during a Champions League week. As the October tv games would have been announced before the CL draw.

OK, for 2018-19, package E (Fri 8pm, Monday 8pm) had 4 matches, package C (Sun 1:30pm & 2:15pm) had 3 matches, with a maximum of 9.  For 2019-20, package E (Fri night, Monday night & Sunday 2pm) has 5 matches maximum, package C (Saturday 7:45pm & Sunday 2pm) has another 5 matches maximum.

I think it's pointless worrying about it, SKY & the Premier League will do what they want in the end!!

Reckon the Arsenal game pencilled in for Aug 24th will be moved to the Sunday?

My sister is getting married on the Saturday so hoping it's moved so I don't have to give my ticket away.

It's League Cup second round that week, there's generally a Monday night game in that midweek. But cos of that they need two teams who are playing in the Europe and thus aren't in the League Cup.

Our game is the only one with two teams in Europe that week.

Why? Teams often play Wednesday-Saturday when they are in Europe.

When they have 2nd legs on Tuesday, and Europa league teams playing on the Sunday. With no other European games that midweek makes sense for it to be Sunday really

Rumours are....

Arsenal (h) Sat 5.30
Burnley (a) Sat 5.30
Chelsea (a) Sun 4.30
Sheff Utd (a) Sat 12.30

Southampton (a) and Newcastle (h) staying Saturday 3.00.

Again, these are just rumours.

When the gap between games is Wednesday-Saturday the only reason the Premier League will move the match is if it’s selected for TV.

I didn’t mean twitter nonsense. In the past we’ve had people on here with fairly reliable information on tv schedule changes a day or two before it’s been officially announced.

NOT 100% but its got Premier League written all over and is in the same official format as it always is. It also states that they are embargoed until 1000 today. Anything is possible I suppose but I really don't think that anyone would bother to go to all that trouble when they are due to be released today anyway.

Maybe being the first few they can sort it easier? They don't have to wait for other competitions, cup ties, police etc. In theory they've been able to plan the first few games for months. Can't remember what happened at this time in previous years though.

Hate Sunday 4.30pm KO's in London but could be a lot worse.

I actually wanted Southampton to be moved so I could go to something else that Saturday but not all the world. Not missing our first away...or any if I can help it :D

Brighton at home will surely stay on the Saturday as we're playing the Ev midweek after it? Chances of that changing to a Friday?

Won’t be a Friday cos it’s a champions league week, could be Sunday.

We'd play Sunday and Wednesday then. Thought that would be unlikely to be honest.

Amazon are streaming every game from that round of fixtures. No one knows whether it will stay on the Wednesday or move to the Tuesday. I hope it stays on the Wednesday
