Gotta love the way this game works.

Somehow a shitty Porto from division 3 managed to beat my division 1 Fiorentina 4-0 despite having the likes of Vermaelen, Subotic, Shweinsteiger, Essien, Nasri, Ribery, Lavezzi and Cavani.

 :tosser

does it prove how shit them players really are or that this is the opposite of 'fifa' and all decent players are shite? i'll give you 30m for Vermaelen and Subotic...

Had a feeling we'd come a cropper against Rangers. Not sure we could beat them in Div 3. Thankfully we've got Real Madrid up next (who we usually destroy with gay abandon) and then the Chelsea scum, which is obviously a title decider.
Well there ya go, done you a favour tonight. Beat them on Sunday and you go top

I have faith in my Dutch future star that is Bas Dost and he replies with a goal giving me a win of Juventus.

2-1

Bas Dost.

4-7th is settled on GD. I don't have the midfield fire power to win games 5-0 so I'll miss the Champions League spot. Forgive me board.

Was so utterly miffed at our draw that I failed to check the table. I only checked it when you said we went top - and we're not! ;D

Double whammy sense of defeat right there.

Excellent stuff. The mighty reds grind out a 1-0 away from home at Rangers thanks to an 88th minute freekick by Pjanic. Delighted. Rangers we're top of the form table going into this game, and it was a bottom of the table clash between the two. 4 wins out of 5 for my new boys

Inter Milan's new boy Alvaro thought it would be funny to get sent off.

Varela has been a great signing so far:
2 games
2 goals
2 wins

plus 1 man of the match performance and an assist

Villa are about to pick up an absolutely quality signing in Boussoufa off Shaktar. Two footed and when played in midfield/attacking midfield, never failed to deliever for me when there. Some free advice for you Villa if you're reading, put him straight in where Giggs plays, No 11, and he'll be golden.

Nice 4-0 home win over Beşiktaş lifts me to 4th in D3. Currently on a 9 game unbeaten streak in the league and definitely aiming for a promotion in my first season at Porto.

Signed Cacau a few turns ago and hes been class so far. 3 games, 2 MOTM, averaging a 9.67. Very happy with that

Tongue in cheek about the title decider bit of course, but we're a bit deflated here in Istanbul. No cup games either - we took our usual route of getting knocked out in both cups at the first ask. I knew it was a mistake to swap Zhirkov for Vargas - everytime he's come on we've got battered. I should have kept to my policy of 'no shit haircuts'.

Still... I hoped for top 8... still think we could do that, but they've switched us off up front - rings a bell.

Unfortunately proves possession + shots =/= goals here in the game too :/

I cannot keep losing critical games.  Milan is next and not feeling good about that one either.  Have a strong team out nonetheless :)

Christ on a bike! In one of my other leagues I've just beaten a decent Spurs side 1-10 away at WHL having gone 1-0 down, some nuts match stats:

Possession:  35% v 65%
Tot shots:  19 v 27
Shots on target:  7 v 10

We are too inconsistent to push for the title but we will keep trying, home form needs to improve
