If Woods is so fit, throw his ass out on the pitch and let him keep up with say, Kuyt for 45 minutes. Who'll be left standing?

I don't care about what he has or hasn't done, your first sentence is spot on. Gianni you massive bell, how is Tiger Woods in better shape than a male gymnast? he isn't.
how is he in better shape than a boxer? he isn't
how is he in better shape than anyone barring a darts player? he isn't
you tit
He isn't  but personally I think the line Gianni is taking , is that Tiger is in the best shape he can physically  be in , which is all any athlete can be .

Mate, Tiger Woods is in superb physical condition. John Daly isn't.

Unfortunately some can't see the difference. They're both golfers so apparently they're in the same physical shape.

So many morons on this site these days. It's a pity.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

He walks. He swings a piece of metal and hits a tiny ball. How difficult, physically, can that be?

What has that got to do with anything  ???

I was being a smart ass about the physical aspect of playing golf. I don't doubt that Woods is fit. But he's not the most fit. Not even close.

You've proven yourself to be one of the biggest whoppers, "it would be tough to name a sportsman in better shape" you said, now you've changed since you realise playing golf is as physically demanding as getting the tube to work in London,

Actually no. I've kept true to my original statement throughout. As Bronx Red has stated already, there are alot of people who just aren't the quickest of cats around here.

Would you bet $100 that Woods would beat Voronin in a footrace over 200m?

When he's won more majors (i'm not doubting he will, and soon) then we can talk about him being the best golfer ever. Will he then be the best sportsman ever? No

And after all that you've said here, you also have the gall to say this,

So many morons on this site these days. It's a pity.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

No but I have a plan.  I'm going to release an ad for a T.V. show called "Who wants to be a Footballer ?".  Surely Voronin will want to be a part of that. :P

No, i've stated already four or five times he'll undoubtedly surpass the record soon. But he doesn't play a sport, and even if it's technically a sport he's nowhere close to the best sportsman ever

I couldn't bet on Woods in a 200m race only because he's undergone major reconstructive surgery on his knee. Otherwise he'd destroy Voronin in a triathlon and the boxing ring. His quickness, his finesse, his athleticism - no contest. (IMO of course!)

Well he does. So live with it.

It's as much a sport as football is. With a hell of a lot more skill involved.

what is 'natural ability'

Are you serious?... natural ability is what scouts look out for... it's what the great sportsmen all have. In tennis it might be touch, hand-eye coordination, the ability to see the shots... in football it would be natural ball control etc...
