Federer advantage if the roof closes. The ball is less likely to move around and such facilitates the greater shot maker, which is Federer.
Roddick says his lethal spin shots would sit-up in the humidity, so not as clear-cut as some people think. Plus Novak has a great indoor record too.
The courts, the rich, the powerful or those in authority never lie. It has been dealt with 'by the courts' nothing to see here run along.

Last time they played under the roof Fed absolutely destroyed Djokovic in the 2012 semi final.

100% Fed's advantage if it's under the roof. No chance of his backhand being affected by the conditions.

Djokovic hasn't lost an indoor match since 2012 though. 36 match win streak.

They both have excellent indoor records. Federer has an 80% career win record, and 92% if you take out the first three years of his pro career.

I always find it a bit weird how people support particular individuals like supporting a team/club

Nothing against Djokovic he's a great player but I'd prefer Federer to win . He's so good to watch love the way he plays it looks effortless & so classy.

Both seem really good guys & if Djokovic wins so be it but this could be Federers last chance & on a romantic side it would be nice

What's the point of watching (or even having) an individual sport if you aren't going to support anyone?

I didn't say it like that. I support Rafa mainly, but supporting someone in the same way as supporting a club doesn't seem right

Id be amazed if someone takes the same passion out of supporting a tennis player than they do LFC. I can for one eat during a tennis game. For a LFC game i am far too nervous to eat or drink anything.

It can happen if you really like a particular person and if that particular person has won plenty of money for you in the past.. I support Jordan Spieth and used to be a big Novak fan too.

Oh yep, fair enough. Yeah I'm the same, I support Federer (+Aussies) but I'm not gonna lose too much sleep if they lose whereas I was sick to the core after that match against Chelsea two seasons ago.

Haha mate I'd prefer to the BBC team than the Aussie commentators we're getting down here. They're too busy plugging Australia's Davis Cup match against Kazakhstan to even bother providing insightful commentary on this match.

Federal breaks -!f anything he's looking even stronger than he did against Murray, absolutely came racing out the blocks here.

Haha! But of course you can never ever write off Djokovic, the man has a superhuman quality to come back against anyone. Not that I'm writing anyone off - very early in the game to say who will win, but I fancy Federer to do it one last time.

That game there is the difference between Djokovic and the way Murray played in the semi final. Djokovic was faultless on those break points.

Don't think I saw Federer frame a single shot against Murray.

Novak putting him under so much more pressure that he can't hit the ball anywhere near as cleanly.
