Something tells me the Giants would be better off in the long run by hitting rock bottom and actually getting #1 overall because their constant mediocrity doesn't give them the best talents, free agents stay well clear and no true clearout is had. It's a great shame that one of the most classic franchises are in a state like this year after year.

The games my local provider is showing are a bit meh as well. I’ll go for Chargers - Cowboys. I have yet to see as full game of Justin Herbert.

Are sure they just not going to extend Daniel Jones? Gettleman not good enough GM to get to pick 2 different QBs

The gints already had the #2 overall pick and used it on Barkley. They're just shit.

2 first rounders next year though to replace jones.

If they get a really good pick they could use that as leverage to get Deshaun Watson if the situation clears up a little.

Exactly in a year that was top heavy with QB prospects coming out as well. Then reached horrifically the year after with selecting Jones anyway and select the 4th or 5th best offensive tackle last year. Plus if you have a good enough team around them and build properly it’s been proven time and time again you don’t need a top 2-3 pick to select a top class QB.

Well, they're New York, so they could obviously entice an established QB to move there and not necessarily draft someone. Mainly, whenever I've been watching them over the past couple of years it looks like they need an epic O-liner. I feel like Buffalo's line makes Allen look better than he is for example.

Jones is still young, obviously, but the way it's been for the past year it's not going to be enough. Maybe they could trade for Trubisky mid-season and give him a second chance where he doesn't have to think about #2 overall and just start afresh? Having those two compete with one another might actually improve both.

Outside of the Spanos clan, no-one wanted the Chargers to move, not SD, not LA and the result is really quite sad.

This is a team renting someone else's stadium and consistently outnumbered by the away support. It'll be like this forever, unless they somehow, I dunno, relocate somewhere else or do something.

Mike Vrabel not going for 2 when Derrick Henry is a literal bowling ball and the Seattle defense are the pins is as dumb as Moyes's decision to bring on Noble for the pen.

Mahomes is truly special. He has one of the worst looking defences, no WR2, no established RB and the O Line hasnt improved from last year yet the Chiefs are still one of the favourites to win the SB

Very. I was hopping mad. It's going to cost him games doing shit like that.

Thought the Cowboys were fortunate with a couple of calls but happy with their play over all (bar that Dak pick, that was ugly!)

Chargers have some teething problems but they look like they could be a team. Herbert is wonderful. Great pick for them.

Just 7 teams that are unbeaten after 2 games.

NFC West were an OT loss from going 8-0 over the 1st 2 weeks. 7-1 isn’t bad though!

Rams v Bucs next week looks a great game in the making. SF v Packers as well. Though so far both have struggled a bit in their games so far. Expect Green Bay to be much improved this evening and to continue that. Some key injuries aren’t helping them though.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

Not sure they're in a position to really plead poverty with any of those things are they? Hardman seems a decent WR2. O line they've invested in hugely and are on game 2. And their RB1 is a first round pick who just suffered his very first fumble last night. He's not amazing, but some of the CEH criticism seems like it should be directed to the playcalling and lack of variety than to the player.

Chiefs need to run the ball more. It sounds ridiculous cos Mahomes and Hill and Kelce blah blah blah, but they need to control the clock a bit more. Their defence isn't very good because they spend at least 35-40 mins on the field every week.

Chiefs dreadful defence is what will cost them, especially if they're up against Tom Brady in the SB again, Chiefs are one of those that have a purple patch were they can score 3 or 4 TDs in next to no time but then give too much time for the opposition to come back at them, there are times when they need to slow it down run the ball more, & take a 13/14 play or more drive that takes 8 minutes or longer off the clock.

Or they should have just given the ball to Mahomes instead of Edwards-Helaire. Running the ball is what cost us yesterday.

The defence is worrying but it is nothing to do with running the ball or not. The defence was fine last year. I think part of the issue is with the run and the Ravens and Browns are 2 of the best running teams.

Moving Chris Jones to the edge doesn't seem to have worked as you lose his presence from the middle and, while he can rush on the edge, he has been poor at blocking off running lanes.

Have tickets to go to see the Browns (Husband's team) against the Lions Sunday 21st November. Game is set for 1pm EST.

Is there any chance that will change? Do NFL games change days/times after they are announced?

With the US/UK travel ban lifted, we were going to try and book flights this evening. Going to do NYC and Cleveland so it wouldn't be a disaster - we would make sure we hit NYC first and then fly back on the Monday/Tuesday after the game, but just wanted to be sure it wasn't silly to book flights so far in advance.
