Good decision to delay the new subscription tiers until the end of the season IMO.

Interested to see how video is after the season finishes though. With no games until the pre-season friendlies that's 3 shows a week (at least) and possibly 4 if the Stats show is planned to look at each match, that won't be back until next season.

Stats Show will run through the summer.

We will have two transfer shows a week plus something else of that hew.

We will have a new show called "Versus", another looking into issues around the game, hopefully a mini series on psychology in sport which I am really excited about. We are also working on something video which showcases the personalities of the contributors too.

Excellent.

Also glad you did the right thing and let people decide on what package they want after the season has ended.

If we win the league, are any of you worried that you won't be sober enough to do all this?

They should have done the overview after the United City game. I felt sad when it was predicted it would be a draw.

Enjoyed the Chelsea fan on the Friday show. Never thought I’d say that!

Also - saying I don’t have permission to listen to the Weekender. Seem to get that about one show a week at the moment. Is that more likely to be an issue with my podcast app?

I don't watch much of the video stuff but the sound on them is frequently shoddy, either clipping or filmed in apparent caverns.

The focusing may be due to the gear used to record, autofocus struggling or who knows what. It’s not a major issue, just seems an average DSLR could pull off a sharper picture quality.

Don't think this is fair or accurate to be honest. There are issues from time to time but they are rare given the amount of video we put out. If you don't watch much you're probably not best placed to comment on the frequency of issues, mate. When we do have them we know, and we're always looking to improve.

Phil is Hightown Phil from days gone by on here. The Chelsea fan was called something else and was indeed quite a good listen. Sounded surprisingly Northern but each to their own!

Anyone else having issues signing in to the app?

Entered e-mail and what I thought was the password and it asks me to check details and try again.

Tried doing a password reset and it says e-mail address not found in database.

Have been able to download the Barca 07 special via Podcast Addict today so account working fine.

Videos work an absolute treat on the app.

Very slick, very well produced app I have to say.  Has a very professional feel to it that I’d expect of a big company.

The audio all says it’s premium so I can’t listen to it. I am a subscriber so maybe that’s teething problems?

Genuinely impressed with the app though. Really is quality

(Although I’ve now gone to settings, it’s automatically checked my subscriptions and it’s all ok now).

Iphone X.

Working perfectly so far - audio and video

Couple of questions

1. Can the audio part of the video material play in the background / with the screen off

2. Is there's a way to increase the text sizes of the articles.

3. A 'dark' mode (white text on black background) would be brilliant.

:wellin on the successful launch of the app

Pretty sure they said that would be a thing at the end of the season when the videos go behind the paywall.

Because they're still on YouTube at the moment it doesn't work.
