Does Milner have a clause in his contract that he must take all corners as well as play midfield?

Rodgers on borrowed time.

We'd like to think that. But there is nothing to indicate that he is. Nothing at all to suggest that anyone at FSG cares about our trajectory, or about Rodger's failures, or that they want to move him on.

We just don't have the quality, or because we went from one of the pasiest teams both in athleticism and speed of thought to one of the slowest.

We actually slow down attacks, it's weird behaviour

Its hard to believe how bad our midfield is, no top side in the world has a midfield as poor as we do. There is no creativity from it at all just full of ''workhorses''. We'll get nowhere until we buy some proper CM's.

We should of replaced Mignolet and relegated him to second choice in the summer instead of signing a 2nd choice keeper.

after he finished with the most clean sheets last season after he came back from that rough spell?

BR is safe unless we are in a serious relegation scrap.

The money will keep coming in regardless which is all that matters.

Course it does but it's stupid to have watched that match and use it as a sign that 'the mighty have fallen'
We played well.
If you're posting we didn't play well you either
a) didn't watch it
b) think football is a game where the result always mirrors the performance or
c) wrote your post before the match started because your so full of bile towards Rodgers you were desperately hoping we wouldn't win so you could hit post and feel vindicated

We didn't play well enough to win though and we needed the win desperately.

This is relegation form.

I'm being serious.  All this bollocks about "seeing improvement" and "new players bedding in", it's dreadful stuff, and people need to get their heads out of the sand. Forget the six games, look at the last 15 competitive matches, almost half a season.

Change is required, because the clock is ticking, and I don't think that even when we have a good spell we are better than "par". Some decent teams out there, and we will have a hard time going past them if in two home games against West Ham and Norwich all we can manage is a point and one goal.

Did you watch the match?
Do you fancy being specific about how it was dreadful or how we played like a relegation side?

Welcome to football; where you can win by playing crap and lose even if you were easily the better team.
D/D/L/L/D/W/W/L/L/D/
Yes - and where you can fail to perform well for 9/10 games, fail to score more than once for ten matches, concede eight in our last four, and still have excuses made for you.

It's been crap. That doesn't mean it can't get better but call it what it is.

Feel the same. Praising performance against Norwich at home just goes to show how awful we've been to watch so far.

I don't think anyone is praising the performance. People are saying the performance was better (relatively speaking).

This is the quietest I think I've ever heard Anfield. Squeezing the fans who are young enough to have the energy and desire to support the team with such high priced ticket prices is something FSG do well -- just ask the red sox fans.

The club as a whole is going backwards. At least we're still top 6 contenders.

if we are anywhere near this come Xmas I'm pretty sure Rogers will be sacked.

Unfortunately we've blown a lot of money on dross over the last few years and it's all coming to the fore due to the last decent player we have being injured.

Anyone know why Firmino didn't start? And what's happened to Markovich?

One goal and we would've been on the same points as Arsenal and in 6th.

we didnt even deserve all our points, arsenal goal was wrongly disallowed, we were lucky against bournemouth too.

Yes, Cech and others are better than him. He's a mid-table at best keeper, then again he's at the right club at the minute.

We created enough clear cut chances to win the game comfortably. We haven't been creating clear cut chances all season.

We have fallen off though. For 6 years we have been a mid table team. I don't see how that is acceptable for a huge club like Liverpool.

Atleast under Houllier and Rafa we won trophies to paper over the cracks. We don't even win the Worthington Cup anymore :butt

A mid table team that hasn't really finished mid table, and actually finished second 2 years ago?

Hyperbole like.

FSG are a very patient lot. It has to reach a point where we're in a bigger mess than we are now, and quite far off from the top 4.

Chelsea starting off poorly is helping Rodgers in a way.

Dalglish was sacked for an appalling run of 14 points from 45 in the league, we're on 16 from 45 at the moment (cups not included)

This was a game we could have won if the players made the right decisions. If Mignolet doesn't come for that and screw up then we don't concede. And if Coutiho puts away his 1 on 1 or if we take our chances then we have a goal or two more.

Not Rodgers' biggest fan right now, but hard to put the blame on him for this.

Can u remember a single chance we created through the middle today ?

How can we spend 300 millions in 3 seasons and can't have a midfield that can even dominate Norwich ? Clearly BR's fault

Almost all our chances were created by Moreno .That's how bad our attacking play was today

4 wins in 18 PL games.

This is a call to FSG...Enough of this shit! End it now or get the fuck out of our club and take Brendan and that c*nt Ayre with you!

Sick to fucking death of average mentality and setling for mediocrity!
