I have spotty memories of the period between the 86 cup final (my first football memory of any kind) and the 87-88 season, and I don't remember the first game. However, why were they playing with a white ball in the second game? I remember our FA cup 3rd round against Luton in 86-87 when they were playing with an orange ball.
