Oh right, so he was sitting on the bench watching Alex Smith eek throws out.  Funny old game.

it's not uncommon for a rookie QB to sit for a year if they're drafted by a decent team. there's much less demand to see what they can do if the team is winning games without them.

It’s exactly why the New England Patriots should take Justin Herbert next year  :thumbup

Pagano is one of the worst head coaches ever. Easily. He could do a job for Chicago as a DC, as he did for Baltimore for ONE season because of one reason only. Both teams were/are stacked on D. Otherwise he is a fraud.

Yep, some coaches make awful head coaches but good coordinators given talent to work with, Joe Philbin is one, he was dreadful as HC at Miami, the bullygate & his response to it being one example, decent enough coordinator

Indeed, Aaron Rodgers had little game time when he was rookie, most of the time he was playing when it was a blowout score.

Anyone think thats a bad idea?

Maybe do that shit behind closed doors

This was in their locker room, that would tend to fit the description of behind closed doors?

Chargers

Josh Rosen is a very talented quarterback -  watched him ever since he started as a freshman at UCLA.

In my opinion the best pure passer in last years draft. Get some talent and protection around him and he could be a breakout star next year.
Better then Baker?

Yes mate.

Baker has more to his game - mobility - however as a pocket passer Rosen is the most talented in my opinion.

Fair enough, I though baker was most accurate passer in the draft last year draft, he was very accurate at OU, he had 70% the last two years.

Oh yea Im aware. Since 2004 one of Big Ben, Brady and Peyton have been in the AFC title game, my pick would change that.
LAC is 3-0 at 1pm EST kickoffs this year, however dont think Rivers has a good history vs NE though. We will see, Chargers have been very good is year and I like the matchups for the Chargers
Also Hunter Henry is active for tomorrow, not sure on his impact 8 months off an ACL tear

Product of the system mate.

Oklahoma was an offence based on getting the ball out quickly to the perimeter, whereas Rosen ran a very pro-style offense at UCLA.

Should add I’m not taking anything away from Mayfield.

My picks are Rams, Saints, Chargers. Colts/Chiefs with the snow is anybody's guess, hopefully it doesn't ruin what should be a great game. I have seen some games in the snow end 3-0, and others be high scoring because it can be harder to defend the pass in slippery conditions. As I recall last playoff game between these 2 finished 45-44 or something.
