Am gonna be a bit negative re. the latest pod.

Richardson saying Liverpool - Chelsea in the first half was exactly like the last time Chelsea was in Merseyside against Everton. Umm...no. In that game Chelsea could/should have been at least 2-0 up whereas in our game they had zero good chances as opposed to our two good ones. Plus we were in control of that game, not them. It's stuff like this that makes me think football is not his forte.

Also Michael Cox saying Man City to drop points in one game but still win it in goal difference. So he definitely means they will lose one game and we draw one cause that ain't possible with City drawing one game and us winning all of them.

He also think Man City winning all of the remaining 5 games is improbable. I mean I fucking hope so, we all do but improbable it is not. It's a team that literally had 18 consecutive wins just last season and are on a run of 9 now.

Quite comfortably the best general-football podcast available. The Euro-centric shows are great and I enjoy when Sash is on for a little pro-Liverpool kick. I’m in a small camp that finds the Anfield Wrap to be a hard listen these days. It’s a pale shadow of its former self, far too self-congratulatory for me and lacking the depth it used to have.

I listen to TFS and Football Ramble - Ramble is mainly a load of shite now with some pub football talk thrown in, but it's more habit than anything. TFS tends to give more balance than anything else I have tried.

I'm the same. It was always down the end of the list of things to listen to and when I did listen to it I found myself wondering why I bothered. So I just unsubscribed and haven't looked back since.

The InterTotally Quiz has been a great addition to the pod. Puts it above others in my listening order. Also, releasing on Sunday night is brilliant.

Agreed. This and Football Weekly (aside from the Detective Wilson stuff) have kept the standard pretty high given that there's very little footballing news to talk about. The Ramble has unfortunately fallen off a cliff since the hiatus. Don't think they've adapted well to not being in the room together, and it's absolutely flooded with promoting the other shows on the network.

Is it wrong to hope that this format lasts long enough for them to get to the CL 2004/05 season?

I've ditched the Ramble for a while now, I don't think I ever liked it it was just something to listen to. I can only imagine how it's like in lockdown. Are there loads of Gorgie Boys and Sven jokes?

I've been really enjoying these podcasts during the lockdown. I grew up in the 90s so the review of the domestic and European seasons have brought back memories and been a great slice of nostalgia.

I think he's a good presenter but I've noticed he's pretty snide about LFC at times.

The throwback season reviews have been great. Michael Cox is always a good listen.
