Some of those alternate attires look pretty cool, rocking it up in the Wild West with a Hitman suit would feel very rewarding ;D

Also another vid here about the weapons, not really new but the Rifles look really fun, and then there's the Dead Eye system. Seems pretty cool and reminds me of a very similar feature in The Wheelman.

Too true.

Apparently if you order the Limited Edition with Amazon, you get a special item, but if you order the Limited Edition with Play.com... you get 3 ??? An alternate attire that boosts your Slow-Mo vision, the most powerful horse in the game, and two Golden Guns which give you a Fame boost whenever you kill someone. Seems like 3 game-breaking items... seems like I want it ;D

This will be, imo, an extreme hit or miss. Will out do GTA or go down as the Pearl Harbour of video games.

to be honest mate, with the way its looking so far, loads of gameplay shown, some decent gameplay mechanics, graphcs, audio and of course some of the storyline shown, I can see it being a big hit.

Although people who are going to play it expecting it to be the next GTA are going to dissappointed IMO, this looks like a more serious game whereas GTA is there just to waste an hour driving round killing people.

I think the only way this can disappoint is through repetitiveness of missions - the same way GTA IV fell down. Everything else looks to be in place.

I don't remember the first being repetitive, but then it was quite short.

I've heard that the development of this game was huge, money-sucking disaster (which seems par for the course with Rockstar) with a huge turnover of staff, that points to the game being bad...but every video I've seen makes it look amazing!

Trailers are meant to make games look good, but these ones are different, because they don't just show us some stupid CGI rendered cutscene with no gameplay, these ones show you ONLY gameplay, which is a brilliant concept to sell the game, everyone wants it more from seeing what the gameplay is actually like than what some CGI trailer makes it look like.

Yeah, if anything the only hype this game has got has come from youtube videos of actual gameplay, a rarity in this day and age where developers try too hard to make something viral or edgy. It looks fucking class in-motion and that's all that matters to me!

This guy has played a demo and sounds pretty positive so it's safe to say it's not a complete turkey but that does sound a bit ominous.

I remember hearing something similar. Gangs of New York-syndrome. Expensive as hell, trying to make it real, every detail perfect but the harmony is fuck all and just doesn't make sense.

They've basically created the wild west as a living breathing world with that multiplayer! :o

Thats some selling point, has to have dedicated servers though to stop the lag surely?

Absoloutely can't wait for this, as soon as I get money, its all going towards this, haven't been this hyped since the PS2 was announced!
