Seeing as my 2 CL games will give me 0 chance of getting a ticket to Kiev and camp and furnace is already sold out...does anyone have any recommendations on where to watch the big game with a great atmosphere?

Fuck the Camp and Furnace anyway - money grabbing bastards- it will be relatively shite in there as an all standing night.

Town will be off its head and there will be loads of places to watch it.

Fuck knows what it will be like afterwards if we actually win it.

Watched every game except Sevilla at home which I was at in La’go so I’m sticking with that because I feel like anywhere else might jinx it. Swerve Camp and Furnace, £11 to get in isn’t it? Be arsed with the walk back into town afterwards as well.

Choose. Don't try and do both when that's their response.

If you want to watch the match say it. Then you go meet them before the wedding and hand over your gift. I'd buy a bottle of champagne and say it was bought to celebrate the CL win, but now you give it to them so they can celebrate their big night properly.

I’ve watched pretty much all the CL games since the Hoffenheim qualifier in a local-ish pub. Pretty fed up of the place to be honest as it’s got no atmosphere but also had the ‘don’t jinx it’ feeling so have stuck with it. Decided to visit another one around the corner for the second half of both QF and SF second legs which, while still not great and being full of kids, at least had some good singing going off. I’m stuck with that for the final now, or I’d never forgive myself if we lost

Enjoyed McCooley's for the Quarters and first leg of the semi but it was too much for the second leg vs Roma, at least a 45 minute wait to get served and no space at all to move/hold more than 1 pint. Considering just having people round mine for the actual match and then heading into town after the game

100% agree with Gnurglan. Given their views, they'll be pissed off if you're trying to sneak away or sneak peak at the match on phone on their special day. Don't spoil it for them or yourself. Decide which of the two you're going to do. But bear in mind that, if you choose the match over their wedding, it might impact on your friendship after.

Had to go to a wedding during world cup few years back , bride had asked hotel not show match in the lobby bar(!). Suffice to say her brother and me shared a knowing nod watching the match and twas never spoken of again. Surprised people haven't realised nobody else gives as much of a shite as you on your wedding day.

I am in fucking Venice so that should be interesting. Be jumping into the canal for one reason or the other [emoji14]

Town was booming for the Europa League final a few years, was proper shite afterwards though. Hopefully that will change. Concert square was bouncing, televisons in most places. Was pacmed to the rafters though.
