Had to give tartar a vote, nothing goes with fish like it. Whatever it's made of, it performs its fishy task most excellently and is a truly underrated sauce.

Nearly went tartar for those reasons, then I remembered I get sick of the taste pretty quickly.

Tartar source is just mayonnaise with frills...

Yes, mayo, cream, pickles and spices.
Still good, way better then boring mayo or ketchup.

Sriracha would get both of my votes but it ain't there! ( I refuse to just see it lumped in with "chilli sauce" :) )

That's an excellent call. Love the stuff.

Sort of assumed it would come in the "chilli sauce" category, so voted that way. And mustard too, obviously.

Dijon Mustard and Tartar Sauce for me.
I loathe fucking Ketchup and most Chilli sauces are sweet crap with not enough kick in them (overhyped Sriracha included).

Youve not shopped around enough.

I'm a chilli sauce freak but never tried a Sriracha sauce. I want to though, it looks good.

Does it have to be the best seller made by Huy Fong foods?  (The one with the Rooster trademark). Or will any suffice?

I went for ketchup and brown

Now I like plenty of different sauces, alot make my arsehole look like the Japanese flag after but when you just want a chip butty or a sausage on then red and brown are the go to. I mean I couldn't ever eat a sausage or bacon barm with anything else other than brown sauce, it's just not right and chips go with everything therefor red is the go to.

Can't stand ketchup. One of my mates mixes it with mayo for his chips and it makes me want to gag. Chilli sauce is the only choice lads, sriracha or encona is my fav.

Yeah good shout on the Cholula. Ive had that before, very nice sauce.

I came across 'El Yucateco' Mexican chilli sauces while on Holiday in Cuba.  The waitress in a regular haunt slipped me a few bottles of the stuff for a handful of Pesos.  Really nice hot sauce and you can get it on some specialist UK Chilli sauce websites at a reasonable price.

They do a Red and Green Habenero and also a slightly milder Jalepeno.

Actually, just came across this 5 bottle variety pack for £12 + free delivery.  I'm on this.

No Boojum in my neck of the woods. Must sneak a bottle or two next time I'm there though.

Also the garlic one sounds lovely, I'll have to source a bottle.

I've actually had this. One of the smaller Burrito places in Dublin have these. The black label one is beautiful, I nicked a bottle after a night out once and put it on a breakfast roll the next morning.

Fellow thieving chilli sauce bastards.  I've just realised where i got my bottle of Colula from

Norwich away last time they were in the Prem.  We ended up drinking on the top floor of a restaurant near the ground after the game.

Colula was on the table and I had a bottle of regular and a bottle of Garlic off.  The lager prices were extortionate in there so I don't feel guilty whatsoever!!

God knows how I got it all the way home but I did. :)
