Some lads who wave the banners at the front of the Kop have had their flag stolen today. They are all ok but if anyone sees it they would like it back...

Just been attacked by 3 lads dressed in black, one took me down and robbed our flag, left my phone and wallet which was lucky, another one of the lads got smacked in the face, seems like they are only after banners. Happened just outside Shevchenko park police no where to be seen"

There was a doc on telly ages ago showing the one's in Russia, they went to their club thing and they had banners and scarves and stuff that they'd taken. Bellends.

Not really bumped up. Maybe in some places. Still get an omlette for just overy a quid. Beer prices range from 30 to 70 depending on where you drink.

Was paying 50p in Lviv for a pint. Seems to be closer to a quid in Kyiv.

I think it's also quite common with various Ultra-groups in other places like Germany. Loads of supporters steal each other's banners and then present them as some kind of trophy. They just hold or hang them upside down. In heated rivalries they even rip them apart or burn them during the game... It's rather sad...

About less than 2 hours from Kyiv on train 7 hours I total didn’t realise this place was so big! Good journey thou plenty of reds on board. Looking forward to meeting up with my lot soon.

Just got confirmation of a ticket.... any decent ways of getting back or spaces on any coaches? Willing to chip in for fuel/booze etc. Or overnight trains to anywhere decent to fly back from.

Getting out is no issue, its getting home without paying hundreds, just thinking of any inventive routes with a bus or train then fly back from somewhere, or a reds bus that is going through warsaw

No trains as they were sold out coming from Poland weeks ago, buses may still be going from Kiev to Polish cities but will be torturous (especially if we lose) - if time/accommodation are no object I'd say fly back on Tuesday or Wednesday - unfortunately you're up against it because all "sensible" routes are booked up and ones that are less so will have been booked by desperate people and thus driving the prices up.

Maybe tweet TAW and see if they'll pick you up (semi serious here..)

I ended up leaving that hostel as the landlady was doing my head in. She spoke no English and was speaking into her phone to translate. There was an 11pm curfew which made it impossible for me regarding the match. I'd speak to her phone to translate. I'd say closed at 11 then she would speak into it and the phone would say... the oven is closed. I picked up my bag and just walked out. Found a place on that FB page. Sound lad. Igor from St Petersburg and we got drunk last night. Hes just gone to meet Liverpools fans at the airport then we go to the city centre later.
