Midfield's the main priority at the moment but I'm looking to bring in more quality all over really.

Agreed without any fuss either, always a pleasure when the negotiations go smoothly.

Big day for AEK with Mbappe on the way in, very exciting! I've missed having him on one of my teams after trading him in the other two worlds. Very happy to have got my hands on a top young keeper as well. We already had two excellent keepers at AEK, but I wasn't 100% happy with either of them for different reasons. Buffon because I don't know how much longer he'll be playing, and Navas because of his situation at Madrid. With Donnarumma joining, we can stick with Buffon for now while knowing that we have a ready-made replacement once we finally decides to hang up his gloves. If anyone wants Navas they can have him for cash, just let me know quickly as I've already accepted a bid from an external.

Verratti leaves a massive void in our midfield, but you can't push through a deal like this one without taking a hit somewhere. Kessie comes in to take his place in the squad, but we could still do with another higher rated CM if anyone else wants to sort out a trade.

Looking back through this thread, we were discussing dropping it to 45 a year ago but we never went through with it. I wouldn't mind dropping it, I was in favour of doing it at the time. But it's defo 50 at the moment. Never broken a squad cap across any of the gameworlds

Did we ever actually drop it to 45 though? We definitely discussed it last January. From the posts in here it looks like most of us agreed it would be a good idea, but we never actually agreed how & when to do it. Then in October you sent around a gameworld announcement reminding people that the cap is 50.

Happy to trim my squad if people want to go with 45. Think it's unfair if I have to remove my bid for Hoever though.
