Firstly well done today got stuck in even tho the going was tough

Made up rafa gave him some time against stoke today and we didnt have to wait months to see him in action.From the time he had on the pitch not bad few touches he had,unlucky with the little dink over the top to kuyt,carnt wait to see more of him hopefully will get some more time against spurs in midweek.

you carnt even congratulate a new signing anymore without people being sarcastic,yeh he was only on for 15 mins today and i think that was the only good thing to come out of todays game and he tried to play some decent through balls considering hes been here less than a week and hes already played i wanted to congratulate the guy,nothing wrong in that

aside from being a bit sensitive, I'd seriously question how you can form any opinion on a winger making his first appearance, based on 15 minutes where we are defending for the majority of the time.

I'm all up for positivity but there are limits

Welcome to the club, should prove to be a good signing.

Very disappointing when we had that counter attack going though, he ran into a blind alley. Not the only one at fault for that today though.

Maxi bottled it with the one to one in the box, the ball should have been his, Prem defenders will have picked that up in a flash. I know its is his first game, but unfortunately today was his learning curve, after all he is no spring chicken!!

I'm one who'll always show support to the players... Still, seriously...a forum saying how well he played?! He's a good player, potentially world class for us (based on history) but today he had maybe 4 touches (someone correct me if I'm wrong)?

The ball spent most of the time in the air while he was on... and spot on with the call about the counter - that was a chance to finish it. He's gonna be a good player for us though I hope.
