so let's guess the reception players will get from former teams.

I would say Kyrie, Porzingis, Anthony Davis will have it worst. I won't be surprised if CP3 will get some boos as well, not that he did anything to deserve, mind. Also totally expecting Marcus Morris to get some hate from Spurs fans.

Russ would get a lot of love from OKC fans and so will Kemba, Mike Conley and Horford respectively. Undecided om Kawhi, Raptors fans adore the guy but they really hate his camp.

think porzingis will get a decent reception to be fair, I don’t think all that many knicks fans blame him for wanting out when it became blatantly obvious the last few weeks what a mess they are and the top players not wanting anything to do with that organisation

Kawhi will get a great reception as I think most understand why he left and even if he always was going he was clearly not healthy from the conference finals on and could easily have shut it down and ended up winning the title, not as if uncle Dennis will be out on the court there with him, Danny green will get a lot of love too, Butler will probably get a good one from Philly and you’d hope brogdon gets a good one back in Milwaukee (with his foot issues and him being around 26 you can’t hold it against him for taking the money when you’ve seen what happened with Isaiah Thomas and boogie the last two summers)

The ones I’m looking forward to are Kawhi with the lakers fans (they booed PG so he will get some) and kyrie with the knicks fans (will probably get some shit)

In addition, teams cannot trade players under the following circumstances:

For two months after receiving the player in trade, if the trade aggregates the player's salary with the salaries of other players. However, the team is free to trade the player immediately, either by himself or without aggregating his salary with other salaries. This restriction applies only to players who were acquired using an exception (and not cap room). (Also see question number 90.)
and also in there is December 15   Players who signed a contract on or before September 15 can be traded2 (see question number 96)

It is not the date he is traded. If u ever played 2k also if u make an offseason trade for somebody they cant be moved till dec 15 also.
Nothing you quoted from Coon CBA FAQ applies to Chris Paul as long as he isn't packaged with other players in the next trade. I have never played 2K, do not intend to and was under the impression we are discussing the real league.

Marcus Morris, Nerlens Noel Fire Rich Paul As Agent

Marcus Morris and Nerlens Noel have fired agent Rich Paul, league sources told Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.

Morris recently backed out of an agreement with the Spurs to sign a one-year deal with the Knicks.

Noel reached an agreement to return to the Thunder after initially backing out of a deal with the team.

-------------------------------

not sure how this douche still has big clients, he flat out destroyed the reputation of AD. Also good PR move by Morris, shifting some blame to him after he backed out of that Spurs commitment. ;)

Simmons has himself a monster contract. $170 million notes for a guy that doesn't have a jump shot. Nice money that.

There are bad contracts in NBA but this is not one of them imo, given that how much some other top players make. Even with his flaws like jump shot as you said, he is still a stud. He put up 16.9 PTS 8.8 REB 7.7 AST and for a 22 year old that's impressive. 76ers overpaid Harris and Horford but this kid is worth every penny.

This one is a bit strange:

Reggie Bullock Agrees To Revised Two-Year Deal With Knicks

The New York Knicks have agreed to sign Reggie Bullock to a two-year deal for less than the $4.7 million exception.

Bullock originally agreed to a two-year, $21 million deal with the Knicks but an injury issue surfaced during his physical.

The Knicks were able to sign Marcus Morris to a one-year, $15 million deal due to the revised agreement with Bullock.

-------------------------
Damn, that's like 15m loss due to that injury, if it's that serious then why sign at first place? I suppose teams are paying players under the table.

James Harden Purchases Five Percent Stake In Houston Dynamo

James Harden has purchased a minority five percent stake in the Houston Dynamo of the MLS.

The overall valuation of the Dynamo, Dash and BBVA Stadium is at least $475 million

"I'm very excited about the opportunity to join the ownership group of the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash and proud to be a part of a club with tremendous history and a great future," Harden said in a statement issued on the Dynamo's website.

"Houston is my home now, and I saw this as a way to invest in my city and expand my business interests at the same time. Soccer in general, and especially MLS, have exploded in this country throughout my lifetime. I've been a fan of the game for several years, and I know that Houston has a massive soccer fanbase, so it was an easy decision for me when this opportunity arose."

Ranking the NBA's Best 23 Under 23

Surprising to still see Tatum still in the top 5, although I think some have harshly dismissed him already after one poor year.

Not surprised to see Doncic top of the list, outrageous player. Good article here from The Atheltic as well (subscription only).

to be fair Masai is way in credit, don’t think anyone can have a go at him! Quite fancy going out there for one of the Atlanta games (assuming there’s two), not just for vince but trae is deffo worth a watch, and I hope vince gets his number retired (as there’s a pretty decent chance without him there isn’t a team there, to be honest they had a piss poor GM who thought Alonzo mourning as the centrepiece was a good deal ffs so can’t blame vince for wanting out then)

think with Tatum it’s that last year he was the next Paul George but now he’s more Harrison Barnes (who’s no scrub but not a paul George), still mad to think doncic went third, but the suns are a joke I guess. Booker is the one who is too high, would definitely take Murray and young over him

How was Tatum next Paul George? He showed a rookie he can elite scorer and average with everything else but doesnt seem like he would be elite at anything but scoring, above average at other parts of his game

I feel for the guy. I now he doesn't have the best reputation on the court but he has done a lot off the court in Sacramento with a lot of charity work and he always voiced his opinions against gun violence. He probably found that Pelicans offer insulting at the time and frankly we all did, i bet he regrets it big time now.

France kicked US out of the WC, well done to them. Gobert was monster and Ntilikina played like getting revenge of minutes he hasn't been getting in the NBA.

It was coming long time, USA didn't win decisively against some opponents and needed miracles like Turkey missing 4 FT's in last seconds in their group.

Also, Kemba 4 yrs 140M 8)

Few Boston players getting decent minutes there as well in that loss.

Still, most underwhelming US Team in years. And with other countries closing the gap, was bound to happen.

been to one knicks game before (when they were far off play offs and towards the end of the season; found that ok if that is a benchmark
