Glad to see him score again, another good finish as well. Hasn’t been getting the greatest service in some of the games so far which as a lone frontman makes life difficult.

I was reading some stats on strikers. The jist of the piece was that strikers signed in January don’t work and they seldom score goals.

Well he’s certainly started off bagging goals, it’s a great sign for him.

Just has to keep scoring. I know he's highly rated by the management, but I can see him going back on loan next season, maybe not in the championship, I know some German sides were interested in him, be interesting to see what happens like

Maybe he would’ve been allowed later in the game but it was still the first half and they’re on the edge of a playoff position so consolidating a win was probably more important

Ideally Swansea get promoted and he has a settled season with them in the Premier League.

He's only just turned 20 so he'd still be on track to make it with us.

Really? He looks like a classic number 9 in a 2 man strike force and a potential Premier League goal scorer but I struggle to see how he fits in our system.

He doesn't fit in our system but I think he could be effective through the middle, playing the role Sturridge did.

If his movement is good and he’s a tactically intelligent player he should be able to play as one of 3 forwards. He won’t play the firmino role like firmino does but the other 2 do a lot of the ‘typical’ number 9 things so no reason he couldn’t play there.
